In the lands of Kalima, a country in the far northwest of the world, the second born son of every family is being sacrificed to the gods. They shall burn alive, their screams filling the air and the smoke filling their lungs. Chained to a wooden pillar in the middle of the marketplace, on the night of their 18th birthday, their burning bodies fill the dark with light.

Karl was one of those boys. And this year, he's supposed to burn in the middle of his town, where he lived his entire life. Everybody loves him, the kind boy that always knows where to help and that does everything for his community. But even he is gonna be sacrificed. His body is gonna burn just like all the other second born boys in Kalima, he's not different from them, even tho he tried to be.

The forest calls for him in the middle of the night, his feet following the call faster than he can think about it. It's peaceful, the air is cold and most of the animals are sleeping. The people of the town are in their warm houses, preparing for the day tomorrow, the day of his sacrifice. His parents already gave him nice clothes, so he would look good for the gods.

The gods. Hah. Karl never believed in them, but that's probably because he doesn't want to die. Not yet. His life has just begun, he has so much to discover, the whole world is a mistery to him and his town, he wants to be different. He wants to know what's out there, wants to get to know about other people and other landscapes. All he ever got to see was the woods and some meadows, nothing special. Still, he thought they were really pretty. He loved the nature.

His legs stopped walking once he arrived at a little clearing, the sky full of stars shining above him and the grass under him being soft. He sat down and watched the dark beauty above him, humming a song that came to his mind. The melody leaves his throat without him even thinking about it, since no ones gonna hear it anyway. His gray eyes took in the sight around him, his ears listening to the silence of the forest. Sometimes he could hear an owl or the leaves rustling, bats screeching and their little wings fluttering. Calm breaths left his mouth, slowly he got tired. His eyes catched a climpse of something big in the sky, before he fell asleep.

The shining sun dazzled him as he woke up. The ground under him was warm and soft, light breaths could be heard in the morning of his last day alive. As his gray soulmirrors took in his surroundings, he realized those breaths didn't belong to him, as well as he wasn't where he fell asleep.

Quickly he tried to get up, but got stopped by strong arms holding him close to a body. A light snicker sounded from his right side, where his eyes found a black haired man lying close to him. Scared, he tried to get away from him, only to find another body lying to his left. Panic started to settle in his body, but a hand on his arm made him look back to the man with the black hair.

"Calm down, sugar. We won't harm you. But please don't wake Sap, he doesn't like being woken-"

A grunt came from the man on his left side, supposedly "Sap". The fragile body of the gray eyed being pressed against a muscular chest, a deep hoarse voice began to speak.

"Why're u wakin' me? 's not even midday.."

Even more scared than before, Karl tried to flee again, but those arms weren't gonna let him go. Ever.

"Our little beauty woke up, Sap", dark brown eyes watched the scene before him amused.

A nose buried itself in the brown fluffy hair of the poor boy being held captive in those strong arms, which owner he didn't even see yet. That upset him, making him slowly angry. He was confused and scared, he just wanted to get away from those weirdos and- Well, he didn't want to go back home. He didn't want to die.

A rough hand caressed his cheek gentle, getting the boys attention. Dark eyes locked themselves with the gray ones of Karl, giving him a silent promise to keep him safe.

"We should probably introduce us, right? I'm Quackity and that's Sapnap. He's a half-dragon and brought you here, to our home. I'm a half-griffin, but I can't shift into my griffin form. With us halfbloods it's pretty complicated, some can shift into their animal form and some can't. But we still have all of the abilities of our other half"

"Half...bloods..?", big eyes looked at the man in front of him, who introduced himself as Quackity.

"Yep, that's right, smart boy", purred the deep voice of Sapnap into his ear. "I heard your beautiful voice and followed it. When I saw you laying in the grass, I couldn't resist you. I just had to take you with me"

Blushing a bit, he slowly tried to free himself, this time not wanting to run away from the two men anymore. They seemed to be nice, but mostly they saved him. They saved him from death. So when the arms finally let go, he turned around to the half-dragon. Quickly, he took in the sight of him, before he did the same with the other man. Strangely they were extremely attractive, way prettier than all of the other people he met so far. After he finished running his eyes over the bodies of the halfbloods, he finally looked into their faces and found them smirking at him. A slight red shimmer covered his cheeks immediatly.

"E-ehm.. I'm Karl.. Thank you, very much. You.. saved my life", he gave them a smile, not expecting the affect this had on them.

Both men threw themselves at the human and brought him into a tight hug.

Weeks have gone by since the day they found him. They talked a lot, telling the others everything about their lives so far. Soon the human got addicted to the two halfbloods, who spent minute of their day with him, always somehow touching him. Karl quickly got to know that Sapnap loved to snuggle and Quackity loved to get stroked at his feathery wings. In exchange they gave him sweet words, warm touches and lovely gazes. In between Sap's strong arms and Quack's soft feathers, he decided to finally give them everything he had to give. He had fallen in love with them, so deeply that he feared he would die if he left them- not, that he ever wanted to.

A shaky breath left his mouth, before he carefully connected his lips with the rough ones belonging to the half-dragon. Suprised the green eyes widened, then he pressed his lips passionately against the other's. Just a few seconds in the two boys could hear a whimper from the black haired halfblood, so they parted their mouths from each other and let out small laughs.

Demanding hands turned the grey eyed boy around and smashed soft lips against the puffy ones of the human. This kiss was gentle and careful, yet the half-griffin definitely was in control. Warm hands ran through the brown hair of Karl, making him more relaxed and melting him between the halfbloods that not only stole him, but also his heart.

Well, not really. They rescued him from the cruelty of his hometown, they saved his live.

That's the reason why he trusted them so much, he wanted to give them all he had left. He fell in love with them, so they deserved to have everything of him.

So, as soon as his lips broke the kiss, he whispered into the warm embrace of his lovers:

"Fuck me"
