You woke up as you had the last day. Your turned in your bed so you could lay face down in your pillow. You groaned while you stretched your body, but you decided to get up and make breakfast. You put on your slippers and started dragging your feet towards your kitchen. Your apartment was bathing in the sunlight and you seriously considered putting use to your blue curtains, who were hanging just above your windows without purpose, to use.
You scratched your neck while you were walking and noticed an abnormal feeling. You stopped and felt the back of your neck. It felt weird. It was soft, but not soft like skin, it was soft rather like feathers. You ran over to your bathroom mirror to check, now feeling very much awake. You lifted your hair up so you could get a better look and to your utter shock and horror, there were small feathers growing out on the back of your neck. Your eyes widened at the sight and you started breathing heavily. "Go away, go away!" you tried to tell the feathers, but they stayed there. You thought that there was nothing more you could do other than hiding them with your hair and go about your day. Maybe Jenkins could help you out.
You continued your way to the kitchen, pretending like nothing was wrong. Maybe this was all a bad dream? You got out a pan and cracked an egg in it. You watched as the eggwhite turned white from the heat of the pan. The smell of cooked egg started traveling through your apartment as you put some salt and pepper on it. You lifted the egg from the pan with a spatula and placed it on a buttered slice of bread. Your poured yourself a glass of orange juice, placed your glass and plate on a side of the counter that faced the window. You stood at the kitchen counter and looked at the city through your window as you started eating your breakfast. People were already out and running around. Some people were just going for a stroll, some were running errands and there were some children that were running around, chasing a couple of pigeons that flew frightened away. You chuckled slightly at the sight of a child faceplanting into the gravel outside before you took a sip of your juice.
At last, you had finished your breakfast and gotten ready for the day. You wore a green silk dress and had a beige fabric-bag hanging from your shoulder. You wore red heels to match and your brimmed had was placed nicely on top of your head. You stepped outside your apartment door and locked it. After re-checking that you had everything you needed to and covering your feathers with your hair, you began your journey over to the wizard Jenkins.
There was a sweet smell of fresh pasteries and other delights roaming around in the air. You enjoyed the smell as you walked across the main part of town. There was a couple of women who stood in a group talking and giggling each time a man passed by. That sight reminded you of the man you met at the cafe. The thought of him couldn't be slept off at all. You laughed at your own sillyness. The sky was blue with little to no clouds in it. The city looked great under this kind of sky and it was even better when the air was filled with the laughter of many.
Finally, you arrived at the shop. The building had chipped, yellow paint on it and a wooden door with a white frame around it. Above the door, it said 'The Great Wizard Jenkins' with black letters that had faded slightly. You reached out your hand and knocked on the door. You waited but noone answered. Therefore, you tried to knock again. This time you could hear someone walking on the other side of the door. "I'll take it Markl." you heard a strangely familiar voice say. You couldn't quite put your finger on who it was because the voice was faint and coming from inside the house.
A noise, sounding like a lock unlocking came from inside the house. "Stand by." the voice said. The door opened and you met the same blue eyes you had met the day before. It was him.
