The same day you headed out to report to madame Suliman in Howl's place. The doorknob was switched so it displayed the color red. You felt Howl behind you grab your hand and put one of his silver rings on your index finger. "This charm will guarantee your safe return." he said. You turned to look him in his blue yes. "Don't worry, I'll follow behind you in a disguise." he said and opened the door. "Thanks, I'll see you soon." you said and walked out.
You came out of a building made of bricks this time, but looking away from the change of location, the weather was still beautiful and you were still wearing your yellow dress. But just because you were going to the kings sorceress, you had put on a nice, golden hair clip as extra decoration. You admired at the ring Howl gave you as you walked in the streets. You looked around to see if you could see any sign of Howl in disguise.
You saw a couple of birds and butterflies, but none of them could be Howl. When you got close to the palace, an old dog accompanied you. It didn't look up at you or anything, it just kept walking alongside you nonsjalantly. "Howl?" you whispered to it and the dog huffed in reply. "An old dog? Are you serious?" you asked, but he ignored the questions. Not long after, a carrige accompanied you. It was carried by two of the blob men. The curtain that hanged in front of the window in the carrige got pushed aside as a large, fat womans face, with heavy makeup packed on her face, was displayed.
"Enjoying the feathers?" the Witch of the Waste asked you and you could feel your blood boiling. "Thanks for delivering that note to Howl for me." she continued and you held the back of your neck. The feathers had grown. "Why did you curse me? What have I even done to you?" you asked the witch. "Howl's heart is going to be mine, you are in my way." she answered bitterly. "So long birdie." she sang and the carriage sped past you. You were left behind with a bad mood. "If you weren't here, I'd punch her right in her disgusting face." you said to the dog.
You reached the palaces gate that was made of pure gold and in front of you there were a large set of stairs leading up to the giant palace. You kept walking, but the witch's blob men were deflated because of a spell that madame Suliman had placed around the palace to ensure that no magical vehicles could pass. The witch noticed that her carrige had stopped and yelled: "What is the meaning of this?". A man answered: "Madame Suliman made sure no vehicles can pass this border." The witch groaned loudly before stepping out of her carriage.
She was so fat that she had three extra chins. She was wearing a black dress with a black fur shawl over her shoulders and a big, black fur hat to match. You watched her as she started to struggle after the three first steps. You noticed that Howl wasn't beside you anymore. He was at the bottom of the stairs, unable to climb the stairs. "God, Howl, you are impossoible." you sighed before walking back down to the bottom of the stairs and picking him up. You groaned at the weight of him. Regardless, you started walking up the stairs.
You were at the top already and found humor in the witch struggeling. "Don't just stand there! Help me!" she shouted at you. "Have you figured how to repeal the curse?" you asked. "I don't know how! I cast spells, I don't undo them!" she replied with waterfalls of sweat running down her chins. "Then you're on your own." you said spitefully and continued watching her struggle and sweat. You really noticed your strong despise for this hag of a woman.
She finally reached the top. You were sure you had never seen a person so out of breath before. "How did you not get a heart attack?" you asked sincerely. "Oh shut up." she answered as she continued to try to catch her breath. She looked as if she had gotten ten years older. You sort of felt sorry for her, but reminded yourself that she deserved it. Just then, one of the kings servants approached you two to show you the way to madame Suliman. "Follow me ladies."
