You hadn't been walking around in darkness for long when you spotted a light blue light. It grew larger and larger as you walked towards it and soon you could see that it was a room. It had a wooden bench, chair and table, a wooden bed with white sheets, a fireplace with some wood beside it, a horn and a long gun hanging on the wall, a window that led in a shallow light and a wooden door with a brown coat handing beside it. The walls were white and the floor was made of planks.
On the table there was a burnt down candle, a bunch of books, a white mug, a couple of papers that were written on with ink and pen beside it, some matches, a miniature boat of gold, a knife and a single, orange maple leaf. You walked up to the table and watched it in confusion and curiosity. Just then, you felt a vibration on your left index finger. You looked down at your hand and saw the ring shaking again.
Heen was nugding his head on the wooden door that led outside. It was as if he knew something you didn't. "Heen..?" you asked softly. He huffed once again wich made you walk over to him and open the door. Your eyes met a large meadow, covered in blue light from the night sky. It looked strangely familiar, but you didn't give it a second thought for now. The blue night sky was covered in glowing, blue shooting stars. You watched them fall from the sky from the stone plating you stood on. Some of them faded before they could hit the ground, but the ones that made it all the way down to hit the ground exploded with green light when they met the ground. They all made the same sound as Suliman's stars had done. This made you think there was some sort of connection between it all.
A bright light appeared behind you. It made you turn around to see what it was and you gasped when your eyes met the largest and brightest shooting star you had ever seen. In addition to glow brightly blue, it had multicolored streaks shooting out of it. As it flew accross the night sky, you felt a sharp pain in your index finger. You looked down to see Howl's ring crumbling right in front of your eyes. Fear began to spread within your body and your hands started shaking. What if something was happening to Howl?
The large shooting star hit the ground and made the loudest noise of them all. Its explotion was brighter and bigger then the others too. The green light it gave out even had a blue crease, and above it was a red one. Far away, you could see a little boy with short, dark hair walking a couple of meters away from the light caused by the stars. The light faded and it got harder to see him. It wasn't hard to figure out who it was. The meadow and house looked all too familiar now. "That's Howl!" you whispered to yourself.
More stars, just like the huge one that had just exploded, came to sight and flew across the sky. They were on their way to greet young Howl. It was no longer very dark and young Howl had seemed to notice them too. The image of Suliman's stars flashed before your eyes and you gasped. On instict, you began to run towards Howl. You ran down the stone platings stairs and your feet met the grass. The earth was muddy, wich mad it hard to run. But it was as if your feet moved on their own.
"I know where I am!" you said to yourself as you ran. "I'm in Howl's childhood!"
