2 Days Later...

I'm standing just inside the house. My face is dusted with makeup, and my hair is done in soft curls. My ears and neck are dressed in matching jewels, and I'm wearing heels that match the rosey golden tint of my dress. My bridesmaids, Luisa, Mirabel, Dolores and Isabella stand by the door, wearing dresses of peachey-orange silk fabric. They peer out of the doorway, giggling and smiling excitedly. I watch them silently, a million thoughts racing through my mind. What if something goes wrong? What if he's not there waiting for me? What if-

"It's almost time Y/n! Are you ready, chica?" Dolores asks me, hurrying over and taking my hands in hers. I smile, and nod. "La señal! The signal!" Mirabel exclaims excitedly, pointing down towards the lake. "Just one more thing..." Isa says, and with a wave of her hands I feel a delicate ring of pink flowers form around my head. "Gracias, Isa," I thank her, smiling. "Now we really need to go!" She says urgently. We hurry out of the house and begin to make our way down the path. I can see the crowd of people waiting by the crystal blue lake, and my stomach begins to erupt in nervous butterflies. It's time...

Camilo's POV...

I stand at the end of the aisle. My friends and family around me, I wait. What if she doesn't come? What if she has second thoughts and leaves? A million thoughts race through my mind. "They're coming!" I hear Antonio exclaim, and he points up to the house. I can see the vague outline of Y/n and her bridesmaids as they begin to hurry down the hill. A bead of cold sweat trickles from my forehead down the side of my face. I wring my hands around each other anxiously, my eyes darting around at the guests. My parents and tios are seated in the front row on sea green chairs, along with Abuela. Behind them is the rest of the town, all whispering excitedly.

After a few more minutes, the band begins to play a soft melody. She's almost here... I think, looking towards the coral drapes that are positioned at the other end of the isle of long white carpet. She's going to come through those curtains any second now... I think to myself, watching the fabric swaying getley in the light breeze. My heart was beating so loud I was sure the whole crowd could hear it. My mouth had gone dry and I found myself swallowing nervously. It's almost time...

Y/n's POV...

I can see the framed coral curtains just ahead of us. Dolores and Isabella have their arms linked, and Luisa and Mirabel walk just behind them, in front of me. We reach the curtains, and Dolores gives me an excited smile before the pair of them walk through the flowing drapes. A few moments later Luisa and Mirabel follow them. Now I'm alone on this side of the curtains. I can hear the music drifting on the air, and my heart begins to beat faster, and faster. I take a deep breath, and reach for the drapes. It's time...

Camilo's POV...

My heart skips a beat when I see her. Like an angel coming out of the gates of heaven she parts the coral drapes with one hand, holding a bouquet of tropical flowers in the other. My mouth falls slightly open as she walks down the white carpet towards me. An indescribable glow shrouds her beautiful figure, and her eyes, her dark, enchanting eyes, are gazing at me. My stomach erupts in butterflies and tears sting my eyes. She is gorgeous. All I want is to hold her, and be hers forever and always.

Y/n's POV...

My heart erupts when I see him, standing at the end of the aisle. I can't take my eyes off his face as I walk down the white carpet step by step. Familiar faces smile at me as I pass the rows of chairs on either side of me. Camilo is gazing at me, and I think I see tears forming in his eyes. I take deep breaths in, and exhale, getting closer and closer to Camilo. The walk feels like years and seconds. When I reach the end of the aisle, I pass my bouquet to Mirabel, my maid of honour, and Camilo takes my hands in his. The priest begins to speak, but I barely hear the words, all I see is Camilo. His hazel eyes swim with adoration and love, and I continue to gaze into them, savouring the feeling of Camilo's hands in mine.

"Do you, Camilo Madrigal, take Y/n Y/l/n, to be your esposa, forever and always?" The priest asks Camilo. "Si, I do." He says, smiling. "And do you, Y/n Y/l/n, take Camilo Madrigal to be your esposo, forever and always?" The priest asks me. Without hesitation, I smile up at Camilo, and reply: "Si, I do."
