Trigger warning for mentions of death, slight body horror, references to gore, and general messed up things.

I decided to revamp my character Keres. While he was definitely.... something— to say the least— he definitely could have been done much, much better. Which I took the liberty of doing! Though I can't redo him in roleplay like I wish I could, I surely was able to improve him in an alternate version of it.

So I present to you; Keres, The Toymaker

The revamped version of Keres would have a completely different path than of his original— He would have a more modern and many times more childish approach to things, in mannerisms and display.

Though everything would be many times more deadly.

The Toymaker would obviously, by his name, make toys a child could play with. Teddy bears, game consoles, jack in the boxes, etc..... though all of these things would be designed to completely and utterly destroy its unfortunate receiver. The teddy bears would suddenly burst open with rabid animals or starved, flesh eating insects, game consoles almost granted to blow up in the receiver's face upon being turned on, jack in the boxes throwing scalding water or some other high temperature liquid at the receiver— to name a few.
In the beginning stages of his introduction, The Toymaker would make himself known by sending the disguised weapons to several people. They wouldn't kill at first, only serving to cause major, non lethal damage. Then eventually, at least one person would find themselves a toy that would inevitably murder them.

To you know— send a message :)

If someone were to have the unfortunate experience of confronting The Toymaker, they would soon find out one of his other abilities; "Play Game". By saying this phrase, The Toymaker can create a pocket dimension set outside the confines of his current one, a small tear in reality he can control at will, and trap his victims in. The pocket dimension can be altered in appearance, width, height, and length, but it would commonly take the appearance of an arena, coloured, childishly drawn on walls too high and flat for the victims to jump or climb over, dull eyed toys sitting in the stands in placement of "fans". The starting ground of the arena can be made out of things like orbeez, kinetic sand, crushed up bits of dolls, or giant puzzle mats.

It really depends on how The Toymaker is feeling. And depending on how he's feeling— is what game the victims would participate in! All simple kid's games, but with the twist of being incredibly deadly. Because its The Toymaker. A game of tag would be turned into a game of tnt tag— take too long to tag somebody else, and you blow up into bloody chunks and pieces. The floor is lava, obviously, would be done with various bits of floating toys The Toymaker oh so graciously provided, the floor replaced with literal lava. Hopscotch would take place thousands of feet in the sky, the air gradually getting harder to breath the longer you take, the boxes thin glass threatening to break under your feet and send you plummeting to your doom. Every game the victims play in would have death as a punishment for failure.

The Toymaker cheating wouldn't help either. He would purposefully make the games unfair— making a timer going by too quickly, the floor too unstable, give one victim an unfair advantage and sic them on the others, to make things more amusing for him. He would also take the role of an announcer. Either standing on a podium overlooking the arena, or floating above it, he would loudly announce each and every move done by his "players" to the toy crowd with a microphone, narrating everything. And if someone were to die— he would more than happily list off their gruesome demise.

And death is not an escape.

Because you see, in this pocket dimension— The Toymaker is the equivalent of a god. Anything that goes on in his dimension, can be controlled, changed, redone, by him. The lives of those trapped in included. :))) So there's many ways dying could go! The victim could be brought back into the games, be forced to sit in the stands with the toys via spikes piercing them to the chair, be stuck permanently dead for however long they stay in the pocket world, or even simply be unfairly killed over and over. Once again— it really depends on how The Toymaker is feeling.

But not to say his control can't be overrided! Cheesy and typical main character answer— but somehow having a much, MUCH stronger strength of will could have him struggling to keep control. Though its an extremely hard task. Can't have it too easy, of course. And even then, The Toymaker might possibly have the challenger kicked out of the pocket dimension.

As a final note, I want to touch on his personality and mentality. The Toymaker would have the same levels of sadism as his original— jk, he would have higher levels of sadism— instead of just going for Remus, and only harming people he knows would affect the other, The Toymaker would actively go for any and all, just for amusement. He hates everyone e q u a l l y. He would be a little more childish as well— if its his actual personality, or a persona, its a little unclear. And of course more dramatic, more excited and unnervingly cheerful.

That's it! A d i o s
