Quick authors note before the chapter begins, this is my first story! I'm excited, but to be honest, I dunno how to write a story. So if any of y'all notice any errors please feel free to let me know.

Also, before each chapter starts I'll list the disclaimers(if any are needed). I might sometimes add a song or two that sorta match the vibes of the chapter. Just cos I really like reading stuff while listening to music. Hope you enjoy the story!

"You're up next, don't mess it up this time," your boss grunts as he walks past you, clapping his hand on your back.

Stifling a groan, you stand up straight and mutter "That was a long time ago.." Your boss ignored you, leaving you to head up towards the small stage in the front of the room. You were in a bar, the famous Galaxy Cove of the planet Curtlias. You'd worked there a long time as a singer and as a waitress (when needed). You weren't very famous, but a decent number of people came to watch you perform. You're pretty talented, but you've made some.. mistakes before and your boss made sure you wouldn't forget them.

As the previous act's song ended, the bar loudened with the sound of applause. The band  bowed and the leader said a quick end of the act 'thank you' and they exited the stage. Taking a deep breath, you look back to the musicians for your own act and walk onto the stage. Shaking slightly, you smile confidently at the crowd, trying to ignore the nervousness gnawing away at your stomach. You'd think I'd be over my stage fright by now, you sigh slightly. You take a second to look at the crowd, to take it all in as your back up band quickly sets up. There were a lot of people, but that was to be expected. There always was.

Seeing that the band was just about done, you grab your mic and tap it lightly. "Hello everyone, thanks for coming tonight. We're gonna start it off with one of your favorite hits." Looking back at the band, you nod and they start playing. Nearly forgetting your anxiety you start swaying to the beat. The music calming your nerves, your entrance coaxing you into singing the galaxy famous tune. You start smiling and are really enjoying your self, feeling comfortable enough to take a closer look at the crowd.

There were three sections to the large room. The largest part was the middle area, where people watched the music and ate and drank. There must've been about a hundred people in the part alone. Then to the right there's a line of secluded booths, to give people some privacy, for discussing business or getting all close and personal with the others in the room. Lastly, in the far left was a bar. There were always a couple loners who had a rough night and came to drink it all way there.

Your song was just about to end when a man in armor walks in. Your voice cracks during the last lyric, but not enough to be terribly noticeable. You start to feel a strange feeling in your chest as the audience claps and cheers. You're too distracted to notice though, because you're sure that's he's a mandalorian. You started sweating a little, remembering the stories of other mandalorians who had visited this bar. You had never thought much about them, for they were so rare. Why worry about a man who was just a story? Well that is until you saw him head into a booth in the back corner of the room.

You noticed your mouth was slightly open and shook your head, like it would clear your mind. It didn't, but the band started playing the next song, so you had no choice but to focus on the steady beat of the music playing as you started to sing a little shakily. After a couple bars, your voice steadied despite your mind doing the opposite.

After a couple hours, your act was over. Relieved, you walk off the stage heading straight to the bar to get your mind off of things. You didn't know why your thoughts were so loud and overwhelming. They really shouldn't of been. After all, the set went well and it's not like anything happened with the mandalorian. After ordering your drink, you sit down to sort through your thoughts a bit. You were interrupted however, by a man sitting down next to you. You didn't look up at first. Why would you? But the man cleared his throat, pulling your eyes to his face. Or where his face would be if you could actually see it. It was the  mandalorian.

Sorry it's so short! The rest probably won't be this short. I hope you enjoyed it so far, and I'm planning on publishing the next part in a couple days. Thanks so much for reading, I look forward to your guy's comments and feedback!
