You and Mando have been at Synavis for about a week and you've both really enjoyed it. But Din decided that it was best to leave and continue on with your lives. So you've been packing for the last couple hours in preparation to leave early tomorrow morning.

Your putting the last of your clothes in a box, when you hear Din walking towards you. You turn to face him, smiling at him "Hi Din! Are you done packing?"

"Y/n... I have to tell you something."

You set your box down and look at him, eyeing him worriedly. "Yeah? What is it Mando?"

He stays silent for a moment, shifting awkwardly, "I don't think you should come with me." He pauses, trying to figure out how to word it "You should stay here on Synavis, the people living here will take care of you in a way I can't."

"Din, what are you talking about?" You stutter slightly, trying your best to control the growing panic in your stomach.

"I have countless bounties placed on me. There are always going to be bounty hunters chasing me. I don't want you to get hurt again. Staying with me would be no way for you to live. You deserve to live somewhere where you can be comfortable and safe. Somewhere where you can lead a solid, reliable life. Somewhere you can be happy. I can't make sure you have that life with me in it Y/n"

"Bullshit" you scoff, turning your back to him. He reaches for you but you slap his hand away. "Leave me alone Mando. You said it yourself, I can't be happy with you."

You hear him sigh, "It's not like that, and you know it. I just want you to be safe and happy, which you can't be living with me. It's too dangerous"

You groan, feeling irritated "a couple bounty hunters and that's it huh? You're supposed to be the best, most efficient killer in the galaxy. Yet a couple bounty hunters find you and suddenly everyones going to end up dead? Come on Din! You could take one a whole bloody army with just that armor of yours."

       "Cyarika..."

"No! You don't get to Cyarika me, ok? You can't just decide what's best for me, break my heart and then expect me to treat you the same! You can't make me fall in love with you just to leave me!" You choke, feeling hot tears burn your eyes as you try to hold them back. "Y-You can't do that to me" you sob, no longer able to stop the tears running down your face.

You watch as he stands there, his body leaned towards you. You could tell he wanted to do something, but wasn't sure what he could do. Finally after a bit, it starts to really piss you off. "I'm going out there, and I'll be back in an hour. I want your stuff out of here, and I don't want to see you or your dumb helmet again."

       "Y/n, please..."

You walk out of the cabin, not even bothering to close the door. This way he would have to get up to close it, and look at you and what he was missing.

After about ten minutes of walking, you enter into a clearing in the forest. It was empty, save a few small wild animals. It was beautiful, and took your mind off of the tears that were frozen to your cheeks. You shiver, as you didn't grab a jacket, and walk to the small spring in the middle of the clearing. You kneel down and reach your hand over the water, feeling the warmth radiating from some waves in its surface. You smile as a small creature swims up to you and gently head butts your hand. It was like a furry goldfish. When you thought about it, it made you giggle. That sounded like the grossest, ugliest combination yet it was the cutest thing you had ever seen.

You were pulled away from your little world as you feel a hand on your shoulder. You wipe around, pulling your blaster out and pointing it at the person. But it was just Cyrus. You reach back to put the blaster back in its holster, slightly embarrassed, when he stops you. "Don't put it back, you need it. The village is under attack."
