As I approach our classroom, I slowly read the nameplate beside the door.

"Class 1-D"

So this is the class that I'll be with for 3 years. I'm not really choosy when it comes to my classmates but as long as they're not troublemakers I guess I can get along with them.

Speaking of classmates, most students will try to be close with their classmates as soon as possible so that they can form friendship and/or avoid being branded as a loner. As much as I understand that feeling, I don't really see the need to rush things. I actually prefer being alone for the early parts of my first year. Making friends will naturally happen when the opportunity arises so I'll just let thing flow the way it should.

Still, I won't mind making a friend or two in the first week of class.

As I enter the classroom, I noticed that there are 40 seats and only around a half of them are occupied. It seems that there are a lot of students in the class.

I approach my seat that bears my name, the one on the second to the last row beside the windows. It seems that I am lucky with my seat placement as everyone knows the seats beside the windows are the best ones. If my seat is the one behind me, then I could have acquired the legendary seat in which all anime MCs tend to seat in class but alas, it seems that it is not my role.

As I sit down on my seat, I decide to observe my classmates that are presents at the moment. There are some who are already talking to their fellow classmate, with one particular person already being approach by my female classmates.

The others are just reading through the class materials while some of them are just observing the class just like me, although they are likely trying to find an opportunity to interact with others.

As I was looking at a chubby classmate with glasses, I noticed a certain young girl entire the classroom. If I remember correctly, she was the one who argued with Blonde-kun in the bus earlier. It seems that she will be one of my classmates. She instantly greeted those near her and proceed to make friends with them.

It seems that she's genuinely a good person to be friends with.

While I was admiring her impressive communication skills, I felt someone occupy the seat behind me. When I turned around to see who it was, I was met with a familiar pair of brown eyes.

It seems that BrownHair-kun is also my classmate.

As we continue to stare at each other, I nodded my head to show that I recognized him. He respond with a nod as well so I decided to look back to the front to avoid any more awkwardness between us.

Even though I said I will properly introduce myself when we meet again, the awkwardness really makes it difficult. Not to mention my introverted way of acknowledging his presence. However, since he is my classmate I'm sure I would have more opportunity to introduce myself.

After a while, I heard him sigh heavily. I guess he's more affected by this than I am. Well at least it was BrownHair-kun who became my classmate and not the one who rudely looked down on him earlier.

"That's a heavy sigh, even though the school semester hasn't even started yet. I feel like sighing after meeting you again."

Me and my big mouth. It looks like Blackhair-san is also here in Class-D.

"... So we were in the same class, huh."

You could at least sound like your not disappointed with his presence, BlackHair-san.

"I am Ayanokouji Kiyotaka. Nice to meet you."

So BrownHair-kun's name is Ayanokouji. I commend your bravery for trying to be friendly with Blackhair-san, the least she could do is respond in kind.
