It was boring as hell.
The entrance ceremony isn't as interesting as I expected. It just like any other entrance ceremony from middle school.
I was having a hard time paying attention to the speaker in the stage, so I decided to look around the gymnasium to pass the time.
The students are group into 4 classes, each named after the first letters of the alphabet. I observed the other classes to see if there's anyone who stands out. So far, these are the students that caught my eye:
- A tall black male student with sunglasses, probably from the States
- A loli with a crane and lilac colored hair with a bored expression on her face
- A tall bald student who reminded me of the name Johnny for some reason.
- A scary looking man with magenta hair smiling like a maniac.
- A beautiful girl will strawberry-blonde hair and blue eyes. No doubt will be one of the most popular student in our year.
Another thing I noticed was that each class are behaving differently from one another. The class in which the loli and the bald man are in seems to be actively listening to the speaker while the class with the beautiful girl seems to be close with her. The class with Magenta-kun and Sunglass-kun acts more similar to our class though.
Speaking of our class, most of us aren't paying attention to the speaker. Some aren't even trying to hide their disinterest.
On a unrelated note , I also noticed that a lot of students have colored hair for some weird reasons.
After the ceremony, we were given an explanation of all the buildings and facilities on campus. We were then given the entire afternoon for ourselves.
Most of the students decide to see their dorms while some head straight to the cafes and karaoke rooms. As the crowd slowly disperse, I found Ayanokouji-kun heading toward the dorms.
"Yo, Ayanokouji-kun"
"Shizutake-kun, do you plan on going to the dorms as well?"
"Yeah, is it alright if I walk with you?"
"I don't mind"
So we continue to walk to the dorms. Since it will take awhile to get there, I decided to engage in some small talk.
"So, how are you finding school so far?"
"It is interesting to say the least."
"I have to agree, this school is interesting."
Seeing that it's his turn to ask something, Ayanokouji-kun took a moment before continuing the conversation.
"What do you think about the S-System so far?"
I wonder why he asked that. Did he also have the same thought regarding the S-System as me? I guess it wouldn't hurt telling him my honest opinion.
"Honestly, I'm kinda wary. Although I don't really like thinking about it too much, I feel like this is just too good to be true."
It seems that he was surprised by my answer. Am I wrong to assume that he thinks the same way.
"Why did you think that, Shizutake-kun?"
I guess I am. I still decided to share my opinions though.
"Well 100,000 points a month seems to be too much for a student's monthly allowance and the way Chiyabashira-sensei explained it seems to be overly complicated."
