"Remind me again why we're doing this in my dorm?"
"If you recall, Samada-san said that we can't stay at the rooftop past 6."
"Library is too crowded"
"We can't use the classroom since we might distract Hirata-kun."
"We're NOT letting boys in our dorms . . ."
" . . . And Kita-san insisted to use mine since it's our idea in the first place. Thank you for reminding me."
Defeated, I opened the door to my dorm.
"Wow, you really didn't add a lot of stuff to your dorm since you moved here?"
"It's a waste of points, Kita-san. I don't really need that much stuff anyway."
Now that I think about it, the dorm doesn't look that much different than it was a month ago. It's not like I can buy some furniture anyway with me saving points at the time.
As we were setting down our stuffs, Aikawa was looking at the kitchen.
"Not gonna lie, I kinda expected you to know how to cook."
She probably noticed the cooking utensils that I haven't put away this morning. I did wake up late than usual, probably due to fatigue from yesterday.
"You bet he can! One time, I tasted his bento when he bought one the other day. It tastes amazing."
"Hmph, I doubt he can come close with my cooking though."
"Wait, you also can cook Aikawa-san? I'm so jealous!"
Takeshi, who made a place for himself on the floor, chimed in.
"Cooking is a useful hobby to learn, Kita-san. You should try it sometimes."
"Yeah, so you can stop eating instant food all the time. You know that stuff is unhealthy."
"Geez, you don't have to expose me like that, Shizutake-kun . . . Oh, I know! Can you teach me how to cook, Aikawa-san?"
Aikawa seems to ponder for a second.
"I rather not."
"Aww . . . "
A dejected Kita and the rest of the group continue to settle in the dorm. Kita and Samada ended up sitting on my bed, Takeshi remained on the floor, Aikawa simply stood by the wall beside the bed, and I took a seat from the dining table and brought it closer to the group.
"Now . . . who will be tutoring us?"
. . .
"Seriously? You two haven't decided this beforehand?"
"To be honest, Aikawa-san, I was just expecting either Shizutake-kun or Ayanokouji-kun to take on the role once we started."
Wait, what?
"Where is that guy, anyway? Isn't he usually hanging out with you guys?"
"Oh, he's helping Horikita-san to convince Ike-kun, Yamauchi-kun, and Sudou-kun to join her study group."
Takeshi and Samada seems surprised. Aikawa, on the other hand, was in deep thought after hearing that info. She then mumbled to herself. . .
"I wonder if it's about the points or about the class ranking . . ."
But before any of us can ask about what she meant by that; Aikawa went back to our earlier topic.
"Anyway, what now? We can't exactly have a study group without someone leading it."
