What the hell is his problem ba?

I raised a brow while looking at him. I noticed that his gaze went from me to JJ and he let out a mocking smile after that.

"I see. Interesting." he suddenly said which made me furrow my brows.

"Huh?" Florence asked because of what he suddenly said.

"Uh, that?" the jerk looked at me and smiled. "What I mean is that...the event is interesting. I'm excited," he added.

My eyes almost widened when I realized something. Don't tell me he's planning something again? The way he stared at me and JJ earlier ay parang may binabalak nanaman siya. What the hell? Can't he just let me live a peaceful life? Nakakainis siya! Sobra!

Just like what JJ said, he did brief us about the event, such as the possible flow of the program and other important things. Because it's interesting naman, I find myself listening intently kahit na inis na inis na ako sa devil na katabi niya.

"I am really sure na sobrang magiging masaya sila kapag makita ka nila. I can't wait to see their reactions." JJ said to me at hindi ko naman maiwasang mapangiti.

"I can't wait to see them, too. I'm also hoping that they would feel happy when they see me." I answered.

"They would. I am sure of that. Your presence is more than enough." he added before flashing a smile.

"Thank you." Ngumiti rin ako.

"Oh, you want water?" He then pointed my empty glass. I just gave him a nod kahit hindi naman ako gano'n ka-thirsty.

"Thank you." I said after he poured water on my glass.

"Welcome," he smiled.

I was about to drink when my eyes caught Crispin, nakatingin siya sa akin ng diretso with his blank expression. Parang ang bilis naman yata magbago ng facial expression niya? I thought he was smirking earlier kasi.

Hmp. I just shrugged my shoulder and continued what I was about to do. JJ continued discussing things about the foundation and the event.

"I am willing to perform, you can add that in the program." Florence said while smiling. "Kami ni Cyd."

"Yeah," the jerk added. I noticed that he's silent now. What happened? And nawala na 'yong smirk. Anyway, wala akong pakialam. Mas okay nga now that he's silent, although medyo ang annoying lang kasi baka ano nanaman pinaplot niya sa mind niya.

"Tanya and Rhys will also perform, nabrief ko na rin sila earlier." JJ nodded and typed something on his laptop.

"How about you? Are you going to perform?" Florence suddenly asked me which made me flinch.

"Ah, maybe we can talk about it next time, hindi ko pa kasi 'yan nadidiscuss kay Ranielle. What I asked is her presence only." Nakahinga ako ng medyo maluwag because of what JJ said, he's really a gentleman and a savior.

"Oh yeah." I added before smiling at him. "We can talk about it next time." Of course I want a lot of next times.

"Talk, talk." The jerk said and it even sounded like he's mocking me. What a rude boy! Hmp.

We still talked a bit about music and after that JJ concluded the meeting na rin. I immediately called my driver pagkalabas namin ng cafe.

"Sasabay ka ba sa akin?" JJ asked Florence. After that, he looked at me. "I can take you home, Ranielle."

"Uhm, I already called my driver." But I suddenly wished I didn't.

"Gano'n ba? Sige, next time nalang. Thank you so much Ranielle ha? See you. Take care." he said smiling.
