" solve it" siddharth huffed as rohit sighed.
"I can't" rohit groaned as he quirked his brow at him.
"Why?" Sidharth questioned signing his files as Jai stretched beside rohit.
"Because I just can't sid." Rohit stated gruffly
"You have too. That's just a few sums"siddharth stated twisting his face
"Its not a few sums. Its fucking trignometory eating my brain."rohit groaned at him
"No crap rohit. You are gonna do it "siddharth stated sternly
"Can't you just let us off the hook sidhart. Rohit is also tired. I am gonna pass out"jai exasperated as siddharth shut his files and looked at the two.
"Shut it. You have made rohit also a lazy bum. Jai don't you dare destroy my rohit" siddharth stated accusingly.
"My rohit. I am hurt sid warrior. I have known you for 16 years more than him. He is my and i am a fucking stranger" jai stated dramatically as rohit stifled his laugh.
"No I didn't mean it like that and mind your language" siddharth groaned at him
"You sure did sid warrior"jai accused him unabashedly
"I did not"siddharth denied with equal vigour
"Shut the fuck up !! Will ya?"rohit growled at the two
"Language"they both yelled in unison at him
"How dare you both tell me to control my language ? When you have no control over yours" rohit yelled at them
"You are the youngest"they deadpanned and then continued glaring each other
"Shut your nonsense and lets go get some food. My stomach is grumbling" rohit stated hurriedly pushing Jai .
"Yeah ok but you have to do the sums" siddharth stated getting up from his seat
"Fine"rohit rolled his eyes at that.

"What is wrong with you these days ? Do you think I haven't noticed how you have changed since nandini and her family moved in? " siddharth stated worriedly as joining rohit in the balcony
"Its nothing like that sid. Its just I am a little over the edge because your case keeps getting bigger and tangles into more seviour knots. "Rohit sighed at it
"That means you aren't leaving anytime soon!! " rohit looked at him weirdly" I mean you won't be able to leave in a week in that case" sidhart said hurriedly roughly covering up his slip up and happiness
"Obviously how can we get a new mission until all of this gets sorted" rohit stated rolling his eyes
"Hmm but you seem to be affected by Ekansh uncle and Manik still" siddharth remarked again
"Its nothing like that buddy. I have just not warmed up to them still. Ekansh Uncle sure does not have the personality of warming up and Manik looks at me like I am the real stalker. It will take some time. Nothing else. They are just worried for you because they care for you a lot. I wouldn't have trusted someone so easily if it were my family member. So I understand that" rohit explained briefly.
"Sometimes I feel like I am talking to a grandmom rather than a teenage boy"sidhart stated rolling his eyes
"Ohh really then go and check the way your brain interprets people. There is something wrong with it" rohit said sarcastically
"No I guess you have the soul of some grandmom"siddharth accused playfully
"Ohh and I think you have the soul of some taunting uncle. "Rohit countered back with equal vigor.
"You are going overboard"sid stated said pointing his finger at him
"Sucks to be you because I am not the one who started it"rohit sassed back.
"You should respect me . I am elder to you"sidhart stated sternly.
"Ohh now you realised that you are an old man. What happened the soul of the young 20 year old flew away?" Rohit said sarcastically
"How dare you ?"sidhart yelled but was interrupted by Manik.
'What is wrong with the two of you. Fight later . Dad has called everyone in his room for a meeting" manik stated hurriedly pulling them out of the balcony
'Go ahead Mr How dare you?" Rohit stated with a tight-lipped smile
"You are also invited young man"manik stated with a smirk
"Why?"rohit questioned perplexed
"I am not Ekansh shukla. So I am not aware of the answer to your why?" Manik rolled his eyes at him
"You can be less more pressing about the fact that you hate me " rohit remarked walking ahead of them
"I never said hate you. Probably just don't like you"manik stated joining him and siddharth
"It is exactly the same thing to my ears"rohit remarked.
"Then you should get them checked. Old people should treat thier body with care. "Will you just shut up . Nobody asked for your opinion"manik sassed back at him as siddharth bumped thier fists enjoying his comebacks
"Why are you guys fighting like cats and dogs? Lets go dad is looking tensed" nandini said pulling all of them inside.
"All of you are here . I want to discuss a few things with you guys. "Ekansh said keeping his cup on the table.
"Yeah dad. Everything is fine right"manik questioned worriedly
"I guess "ekansh sighed
"What happened ekansh uncle?"siddharth enquired
"Don't worry siddharth nothing has happened yet. I have spoken to your security agency rohit. Your team has merged two cases and working on it now. You will get a call from your teammates soon. "Ekansh stated calmly
"What is it dad?"jai interrupted him
"Shut up and let me speak. So your Rohini mom is comming today in the evening. We will have a small engagement party for manik and nandini. Only very closed one's will be invited. We are on high alert. There some people not only after siddharth but after our family too. We need to be more careful. So the decision is final"He said furiously in a steely voice. Nobody in the room spoke for a few moments. Neither anyone had the mouth to deny him nor anyone wanted to accept it
"But the engagement was supposed to be in Goa"nandini squeaked lowly
"No Goa .You can have something else in Goa. Everything will happen here with very few people. Our lives matter or your goa engagement. Decide it for yourself Nandini. I never thought you will be so stupid" ekansh growled at her
"I am sorry dad. I just got overboard and spoke without even thinking about anything. " nandini apologised as tears brimmed in her eyes
"Its ok but girls should be prudent atleast in times of need. I am disappointed" ekansh stated disappointedly as nandini ran out of the room unable to endure more humiliation.
"Dad you shouldn't have been so harsh on her. Aren't we enough for you to rule"manik yelled at him as he followed nandini.
"Dad I also am not at all appreciative of how you behaved with her. "Jai stated sternly as he followed the two out
"I apologise to you on her behalf uncle. She just got overwhelmed listening the news. She was very excited to hear the news. "Siddharth stated respectfully and moved out of the room
"Don't you have anything to say like them."ekansh quirked a brow at the young boy
"Not really . But I do think that there is something more to this"rohit stated sitting beside him making him raise his brows. This boy certainly had a lot of guts.
"What do you mean?"he questioned as the young boy sighed.
"I meant that you came with your whole family the instant you heard siddharth's news. It was like you grabbed the opportunity you wanted"rohit stated pondering over all the scenerio's which happened. She had followed the family for years and known about the threats from a long time.
"What do you mean to say? I am here because I have ill intentions"ekansh growled as rohit nodded a no at him.
"No that's not what I meant"rohit dismissed it almost immediately
"Then mind elaborating"ekansh stated sternly
"You must be getting threats since a long time. You just wanted a chance to keep Siddharth and Rohini also under your protective wings because their lives can get in danger because of you. " rohit stated matter-of -factly as ekansh was impressed by his way of gauging things
"I won't say you are wrong at all"he didn't denied his words and he did not accepted them too.
"But in all of this there is one thing which you did extremely wrong"rohit stated vehemently
"What do you mean? "Ekansh rasied his brows at him
"You shouldn't have made nandini see those dreams. You helped her establish those dreams . She belived in them. Then in a snap of a finger you snatched it from her. You used her in your game and rebuked her at the end. She is your family. This isn't how you treat family. The least you could have done was console her and show her support. She couldn't even believe that you were the one who asked her to not do the things you helped her vision. She blurted something in shock and she became the wrong one too. That's what is wrong. You can't play someone like that and break thier trust . More so someone from whom you are going to have such a close relation and you would want to be respected. Respect goes both ways. You don't respect her feelings and emotions then she won't too. " rohit stated decisively as ekansh was highly impressed by his values. It reminded him of only one person..
"I am understanding what you are trying to say. I will talk to her"he stated nodding at him
"I will deal with my team" rohit said walking out of the room
"He sure is raised by Myra. No doubt at all"he muttered seeing him leave.

"How dare he say something like that?" Jai grumbled moving around the room
"He wasn't wrong too nandini. You need to understand the gravity of the situation. We could loose any one of us" siddharth stated softly. He knew it would comfort her. It comforts her if she thinks she did things for her loved one's. That's just her personality.
'No bro . Engagement doesn't happens everyday. And dad has lost it. He does this everytime. People should just obey him lowering thier heads. He shouldn't have talked to bhabhi like that. There is a limit to endure. This is the reason mom and twinnie left us" jai groaned as he fisted his hands. His head flew to the side as he palmed his face. Manik stood thier in rage. He slapped Jai real hard.
"Reminder you are still a kid Jai. You don't really know what happened with Shehnaaz and mom. Better keep your mouth shut. Stop rambling nonesense. This isn't a thing you should meddle with"manik yelled as he glared him down.
"Have you lost it Manik"nandini shrieked hugging rohit and kissing his cheek.
" Stop it Manik. Have you lost your senses" siddharth said as he pulled rohit into his embrace who clutched on to his shirt.
"What? You both have made him like this. Support him more like that and this kid will dance on our heads" manik grumbled as siddharth sighed.
"I am taking him out. Both of you don't come out of this room until you sort each other out and set both of your minds straight" siddharth stated calmly as he pulled jai out of the room and ushered rohit out too who stood thier as a mere spectator at the entrance of the room .
"What was manik talking about? Does he know anything about mom and my disappearence? What are the missing peices I can't  join?" Rohit muttered as he stomped his way to his room .
