"Creepy." I joked nudging her, I chuckled but she said nothing putting me on edge. She didn't look at me when she took a deep breath and started to make her way through the woods. still holding her items I followed her in, every step had my nerves getting worse. My stomach began to churn as I walked faster to catch up with her.
A wood cabin became clear from the distance as we grew closer. The same familiar feeling came back to me as I looked at it, I felt my legs grow week and suddenly my eyes blurred as I grew dizzy dropping the bag I moved and caught myself on a tree throwing up. I heard mystic come up behind me and place a hand on my back.
"Are you okay?" she asked, her tone was hushed like she wasn't meant to be here herself. Whipping my mouth with eh back of my hand I stood up and nodded to her.
"Sorry, I have no idea what's wrong with me." I said with a chuckled but it didn't last long as my body bent of allowing me to throw up the remaining contents of my stomach before heaving. My legs wobble before giving way, Myst arms already wrapped around my body to make sure I didn't hit the floor.
She grabbed the bag before she helped me walk over to the cabin, my body began to sweat the high alert I was already in getting worse . I panted and shivered as she dumped my heavy body onto a bed, "stay here." She said and hurried out of the room.
I felt my sight fading as I lay there, I felt as if I was getting sicker the more I rested. I need to get home. I stood up and attempted to walk out the room, I had to use walls and furniture to get out of the bed room. Looking down the hall although would usually be a short one seemed to look extremely long to me.
With a huff of my breath I began to slowly slump my way down this hallway, I entered the main room the same time Mystic did. Placing a cup of water on the table she rushed over and grabbed me hobbling me over to the sofa and dropping me on it.
"you shouldn't try to move till you're feeling better!" she scolded me handing me the cold water. I gratefully took it and gulped it done my sore throat feeling a letter replenished. I tried to thank her but she shushed me before I had the chance.
She got back up and went into he beck room, my body felt extremely heavy and the door that was right in front of my felt so far away. When mystic returned with another glass of water there was heavy footsteps making their way to the door.
I never noticed before how ragged Mystics clothes was but t made sense, the cabin was small. 1 bedroom it was like she lived alone at least that is whet I would like to believe if it wasn't for the males clothing everywhere.
The front door swung open and revealed a large man. He had a belly that hung done over his trouser and below his top, his face held a constant scowl as he looked down at my limp state. "Myst... whose this?" mystic came into he room and bowed her head slightly.
"This is Arabella my friend sir." She didn't looked at him in the eyes, his face didn't changed and he came forwards and grabbed her by the hair.
"Come this me." she pulled her by the hair into one of the room down the hallway where the voices were so faint I could even guess what they were saying. It felt like I was there a while but I wasn't, the feeling in my limps slowly cam back and I could now breath normally.
Testing me wobbly legs I stood up and stretched as the room door opened, mystic didn't come out but the man did. "it is nice to meet yo Arabella, you should be off. Don't want your family to worry do you?" she questioned I nodded my head and shook the hand he held out for me.
He pulled me closure and looked at me intently, "Such a beautiful girl" he whispered, slowly I moved form his grasp and looked around him.
"Myst I'm going!" I shouted, there was no answer. I took a step to go see her but his large hand grabbed me, flinching from the pain I looked up at him.
"I-I'll walk her out sir, she's feeling unwell." Myst said appearing before us. Nodding his head he let my arm go and Myst practically shoved me out he door. She linked arms with me, we didn't say a word but her pace was rushed.
"I'm sorry about this we will talk soon thought." She let go of my arm and pushed me out of the tree line, I stumbled and fell over landing on my side. Looking back over at the tree Myst had already gone.
I got myself up and dusted off before walking over to the house, I stopped after turning the corner noticing a slim figure looking up at the house. Slowly I got closure recognising the figure as my fathers twin sister Moreen as I got closure to her.
She was a lovely women, she was currently unmarried by choice. Her most recent boyfriend is on holiday with his friends, I walked over to her and stood beside her looking at the house that now has scaffolding around it.
"The house looked like it's about to fall down." I chuckled, she smiled at me and wrapped and arm around me for a side hug. I warped my arms around her waist and hugged her. "are you here for Eleanor?"
"this beauty needs some love is all and yes but mainly for my brother and your mother." I nodded my head as we let go of each other. I grabbed the begs she brought as she grabbed her suitcase and we made out way into he house.
