It has been a few days since mine and Jacob kiss, I haven't seen of heard from him since. it's also been a few weeks since my aunt came to live with us. Thankfully she had bought some much needed laughter and light with her, my brother was now captain of the football team, after the beat up Hogeye made it abundantly clear the old captain was no longer welcome in town and after pronouncing himself as gay he moved towns.
I was currently walking along as this meant my brother the new captain was in charge and had to be completely dedicated. I hadn't seen Mystic since that fateful morning, and I was still worried about her. I let out a sigh, I looked up and spotted a man from the corner f my eye hiding behind things as he followed me.
I gulped and looked around realising I was alone with this person, fear spread through my body as I quickened my pace. Suddenly a hand wrapped around my arm stopping my from walking, I tried to rip my body away but he wrapped and arm around my body and covered my mouth as I tried to scream for help.
"Shhhh, Arabella. I promise you are safe." I stopped; he knew my name. he slowly let me go and I pulled away turning to look at him. "Y-you are Arabella Hilliar, right?" he asked again looking at me. he was tall with short scruffy black hair and soft brown eyes.
"I'm Arabella Moore." I corrected, looking at him still confused. It took him a moment before h nodded.
"That's right, she got married didn't she." He muttered to mainly himself.
"Sorry, who are you?" I asked raising an eyebrow. His eyes looked sad as he looked back at me, he took a few steps forward. I placed a hand up stopping him, "I said, Who are you."
"My name is Mark Hilliar, I am your farther." He took another step forward with a smile but stopped as my little body erupted into laughter.
"I-I'm sorry but... you're not my father. His name Is Leonardo Moore." He looked annoyed for a moment before he huffed out a breath.
"Yes, I supposed it would be easier to grow up telling you that then the truth." E sighed again, I stood there in shock. I didn't know this man, but something was telling me wasn't lying.
"This has to be a sick fucking joke." I growled. Mark shook his head
"I'm Eleanor's farther too." I looked shocked me and Elleanor's but what about...
"Are you Enzo's too?" March shook his head; I had forgotten I was due to go to school and began marching back. Mark behind me calling my name, I wasn't listening as he followed me back home where my mother and farther currently remained.
"Are you the reason Elleanor is no longer talking to us?" I asked as we continued, I could hear him clearly behind me.
"N-no, I'm here because she stopped talking to me." she shouted still following me, I opened the front door making sure to slam it off the wall. I heard footsteps rapid coming from upstairs as I shouted mom form the top of my lungs.
"Arabella? Why on earth are you not at school?" she stopped at the top of the stairs her eyes clearly catching Marks. "Mark?" she gasped. "How are you?" her voices was breathy as she glided down the stairs and hugged the man openly Infront of me. I took a few steps back shocked. It took a cough from my farther to split them apart, my farther walked in behind me placing a hand on my shoulder. His face tense smile.
"Mark, what are you doing here?" He looked at my mother before back to mark, mom took a couple of steps back from mark and bowed her head slightly eyes on the floor. I had never seen them act like this, did dad already know of me and Eleanor?
"It's about Elleanor...she is no longer talking to me." Mother looked at my father then at e before interrupting.
"Perhaps it's best Arabella head to school before she's late." Dad grip loosened on my shoulder, and he gruffly grunted in agreement.
"Absolutely not I want answers." I growled. My farther looked confused as mom looked at Mark who gulped.
"Why don't we chat for a moment outside Mark." My mother said sweetly, he nodded and began to walk out.
"MOM!" I shouted grabbing her arm as she tried to walk out the house with the strange man. "Who the hell is this!"
"Well, this is my cousin mark" she smiled sweetly, had this been another conversation I would have believed her
"Honey what is going on?" Dad asked I shoved his hands off me while still looking at mother.
"Then why is he telling me he's my farther?" she looked shocked for a moment, then angry turning to him with a pissed off expression to match my own.
"He said what?" he took a step back holding his hands up in surrender.
"Vanessa?" my farther called stepping in front of me his expression angry.
"Mom what the hell is going on?"
"Let the adults talk dear." She didn't take her eyes off dad, fear speeding though her own. Maybe he didn't know about me.
"NO! you will explain this to me! is he really my dad." she sighed and looked at me, the guilt in her eyes told me everything
"What the hell, you've been married to dad since you were 16! What did you cheat on him! How many of us are this psychopath's kids huh?!" I shouted. She flinched and Mark stood straight
"Don't you speak to her like that young lady."
"You don't speak to my daughter that way" my farther snapped at him.
"Fuck off you're not my dad!" I shouted at mark before storming off. "Fuck BOTH of you!" I shout to Venessa and Mark this time. Mark attempted to grab my arm as I walked away
Dad grabbed his hand and punched him in the face. They fought over and me and mom attempted to pull them apart. Mark swung his fist and punched me in the face. Everyone stopped and looked at me like I was about to break into tiny pieces.
I felt the blood in my nose trickling down as I looked at the scene through blurry eyes. "I hate you both." I said to mark and vanessa and I ran off into the outside world.
