I opened the front door and held it open and Moreen stepped in, she looked around the hallway in awe as my mother stepped around the corner holding Arlo in her arms. She is waiting until Moreen spotted her and gave her a hug and a smile.
"So nice of you to come Moreen, how was your trip?" they hugged each other as I place Moreen stuff into he spare room she would be sleeping in. I looked around in amazement. The dust old room had been cleaned and was now paint a light-yellow colour with a bed and draws placed in the room. Curtains and even a working light.
I heard stopping as I came back into the hallway and saw Enzo walking down the stairs as mother passed me baby Arlo, Enzo walked beside me after hugging our aunt and looked down at me whispering.
"don't say anything about Damian." I nodded my head and carried on watching as the twins came and hugged their aunt. When everyone -but my farther who was currently out looking for Eleanor – had finished saying hello to Moreen I helped her unpack her stuff to stay.
"How long will you be staying?" I asked. She looked at me and smiled
"Well talk about it more when we find your sister." She said, I nodded my head and carried on She'll be here for the foreseeable future then it wasn't that I didn't want her here or that I thought Eleanor would be found. Whenever Moreen said something along these lines she is with us for a fair few months.
"You know this was my old childhood home." I looked at her stunned. She hummed placing the last items away, "oh yeah, this room was the games room. The children would play there games here, kept the house and room tidy and kept the kids all together."
We moved from her room and into the hallway she pointed at each room and confirmed that where the same as us. Kitchen, dining, and the living room as well as a downstairs toilet. She put her finger up and walked to the stairs. With two decent strength knocks a little door opened under the stairs.
I looked at her shocked before getting on my hands and knees, I crawled through the little door, using my phones torch I noticed the top of this tiny room followed the stains and at the end was what looked like another door. Standing up I made my way through this room too and noting it was a small room in the middle of the house.
The walls had small holes where you could se into each room, it as duty and disabled but amazing all the same. I came back out through the small door to see my aunt looking at me with amusement. "There's more." She said, curious she walked up the stairs and I followed. We turned to the left first there were there was three rooms. To the left Eleanor's room when she stops, Infront was the twin's room and to the right was Arlo's baby room.
Entering Eleanor's plain white room with white sheets Moreen looked around. "This was out spare room. We would have guests over all the time." We came out and entered the twin's room, she had a sad smile. "This was mine and your farther room." Th twins' room had been paints a light punk colour on, with a few flicks of purple paint. Mom had allowed Paulette to work on it after wrapping things up.
She walked ever to the wardrobe that lined the full back wall and opened it. At the bottom on the very left she removed a back panel to show a hidden room buried deep within the twins sat there and watched as I climbed in to see a whole new part of the room closed off but the wardrobe. After I came out, the twins headed in falling instantly in love with their new littler room.
We walked out of the room leaving the twins to the new discovery and walked to the left into Arlo's room, the room was empty of Arlo himself as mom had home downstairs. His room was painted a beautiful sky blue with pencilled outlines of clouds where I was to paint the clouds for him. "This was out baby brother room. He was dismembered and disembowelled first." I shivered at the thought as we left.
To the right of the stairs you have my room to the right, Enzo's down the hall next to mine, parents directly at the end of the hall and the bathroom opposite Enzo's room and the door leading to the attic opposite mine.
