We entered my room first, "this was my big sister's room, her throat was slit while she was sleeping." I remember the blood stains on the floor and wall when we first moved here, Keep that to yourself. She walked over to my desk and pulled up out opening the floor to a look stair well. I put a touch on and looked down it looked like a basement in a second flood. "This leave to the basement underneath and there are a few tunnels down there."
She said, I bit my phone keeping the torch on and made my way down the ladder. Moreen remained at the top watching me do down. When my feet hit the bottom, I moved my torch around to see four tunnels on each wall. The walls ere damp and everything was dark. Walking over to one of the tunnels I listened, before I stepped into it, I heard what seemed to be a shuffle then a man.
My heart began pounding into my chest, I turned around and bolted back up the ladder shutting the hatch and pushing my desk back on top panting like my life depended on it. We left my room and went next door into Enzo's room, He was currently in the shower, so we weren't bothering him by being in here. "This used to be my mother's office. She would write books nearly all day."
She pulled the lamp down to the right of the wall by the back window and it pushed out a door hatch. I looked at my aunt before opening to door to a hallway, I put my torch back on and headed inside. Not only was the little hallway littered with shelves top to bottom but so was the room. I looked around in amazement before heading back out an closing the door.
We left Enzo's room just before he got out, the bathroom and he looked at us in an odd manor. "I'm just showing aunt moreen the house." I will show him the secret places later, I thought as we entered my mother and father's room.
She went over to the balcony and looked out the window. "This was my father and mother room. My father was stabbed multiple times and my mother was suffocated. Me and your farther was at a sleep over when it happened and there bodied were wrapped up and positioned as a happy family on the sofa."
She turned to me and looked at me with sadness in her eyes, I walked over and hugged her. She waited a moment before hugging me back, we staid like that until my aunt coughed. "Let's continue. She said pulling away. I nodded and followed her back out my family's bedroom.
She told me the attic was boarded out as her father was a musician and had band practice up there. After the tour Moreen went into the dining room to see mom while I took my coat and headed outside for a walk around the village.
Well, now we know what was going on with all the creepy stuff going on like being grabbed and the girls talking to people as well as the creepy as the crying. It was creepy to think we are living somewhere with such a horrible past but with every house had a history and I have stepped in many people's shadows.
As I walked towards the park, I noticed the man that lived with Myst stood there with two other men chatting, I stopped watching him. I couldn't place my finger on how familiar that man felt. Maybe had met him before? He lived with Myst so maybe her farther?
He looked over and caught me staring over at him mulling over my owner thoughts, he turned to me before anything else Myst stepped out from behind him catching his attention. She looked between me and the man. I waved at her before she could wave back, he said something to her, she nodded and scampered off.
I watched them confused as he made his way over to me, as he got closure, I felt the hairs on my skin stand up and my skin itself began to crawl. I felt unsafe. The men he was talking to didn't bat an eye that he had left without a word they just carried on talking like it was nothing.
"Hello Arabella, wasn't it?" I nodded my head, "My name is Ivan Vanguard, I am Mystics farther." He held out a hand to me once again, looking at it sceptically I took a moment before taking and shaking it. Vanguard huh? She's a jones I guess it's her mother's name... that sounds familiar though.
"Why don't you come sit with me." he said. I nodded my head and sat beside him on a bench. "How old are you?"
"I'm 15" I said with an uneven tone, he placed a hand on my thigh his finger attempting to wedge themselves between my legs. "Same age as my vibrant daughters. Not spoilt by women hood yet." I felt him lean closure. Giving into the alarm bells I stood up abruptly.
"I-I must be leaving now!" his hand slipped from my lap and before I could allow him to say another word to me I left.
