the waiting room was quiet, No one but me and Marcus were waiting. I looked up at him, he was currently reading a magazine not really paying much attention, I let out a sigh as the door opened. A young girl name rita mora walked out her long cotton pink hair tied in a bun and her light make up faced looked at me in shock.
"Arabella? is that you?" i nodded my head not really in the mood to speak with her, she looked form me to officer.
"I'm a Serial killer... coming in for a evaluation." she took a step back the fear on her face laughable and she made a quick escape.
"Was that actually necessary?" Marcus grumbled turning the page.
"she was a bitch to me in school."
"she's going to talk you know."
"Let her." I snapped with a growl making him chuckle.
Ah Bella, come on in!" I heard the cheer voice of Jane, I got up quickly and headed into the office Marcus sighing as he placed the magazine down following through. She sat at her desk while I shut the door behind Marcus before making my way over to her.
I sat in the seat across from her while Marcus stood behind me, "to what d I owe this visit." she smiled, I slammed the article on the desk making her jump a little. she placed on her glass's and picked up up skimming over before sighing.
She looked me dead in the eyes not saying a word, she was asking the silent question what are you wanting to know? "Tell me what you know about this." I demanded, she placed it face down on the desk rubbing her temple.
"I can't." I growled
"Liar" I snapped
"No, We don't know what happened Arabella... When we found you, you had already escaped. you were dragging her dead body to the town, you just about let us take her from you, for months you didn't speak and then suddenly one day it was like nothing ever happened.
"you were talking, playing laughing. Like nothing had happened like you forgot... I mean I know you didn't you blocked it out. I tried all I could to get the memories from you but you were too stubborn and I get it I wouldn't want to relive that either."
blocked it out? "How would I get my memory back?" she sighed and looked a little lost.
"Are you sure?" I nodded my head in confidence, she stood up an grabbed a old map in her draw and draw me a guide.
"You'll nee to return to the place it all happened. I have marked the way but this one you'll have to do alone." I nodded my head taking the map and turned before walking out.
"Thanks aunty." she nodded and watched me go. "ready for a roan trip Marcus?" he chuckled. "you are okay to go with me right?"
"Yeah It'll be fine." we headed to his car and hopped in, he placed the map coordinate in his phone and I put the map closed in the foot well as we began the trip. I don't know when but I must of slept because suddenly I was awake by Marcus shaking me.
the sky was dark and the car lights illuminated the broken cabin one I had stepped into 2 months ago. I gulped. "ready?" Marcus asked about to get out.
I grabbed his arm. "I have to go alone..." he looked back at me like I was mad
"No." he said.
"Please..." He huffed and gave me his phone.
"you call me and you keep the line open at all times." I smiled with a nod. I got out after the call connected and made my way tot he cabin switching on my torched as the walls blocked the Cars headlights.
The cabin was rotting, the wood warped and damp. I saw the old blood stains on the floor and wall, a clear trail of a body being dragged. I gasped at the pain in my head as a image came back of little me pulling a small silver haired girl.
"Arabella?" Marcus panicked
"I'm okay! just a memory." I said. I had dragged Mystic out from here... I carried on through the house looking in each room as I made my way to the bed room. Nothing sprang out till I touched the stained bed, I gasped and ran tot he mucked toilet to be sick as memories floated back.
what the fuck! Tear left my eye as the vomit kept coming out, a hand on my back made my jump till I heard Marcus voice calming me. I wiped my mouth on the back of my sleeve as I stood panting.
"You okay?" I nodded. "I'm going to stay." I could hear he was prepared for me to back talking him but I nodded.
"I think that's wise." he let out a breath he was holding, I heard him disconnect the phone. I didn't want to go back in the room but as I glared at it I noticed a open hatch in the floor, slowly making my way into it and looked down the pitch black hatch.
"you're not thinking of going down there are you?" I looked at Marcus and nodded on handing him my phone and I climbed the ladders down. nonce my feet hit the ground I looked up.
"Pass me my phone please!" I called, Marcus dropped the phone and I caught it with ease. letting out a breath, I shone the torch around and looked a the room with horror.
