Chapter 26

I woke up with a start, springing up out of my bed. I had kicked and startled a sleeping Raven, in turn her body landed with a thump on my floor. her body in a puddle she lay there for a couple of minute before unknotting herself.

"What the hell." she growled inhumanly, after last nights dream the noise scratched right through me and my whole body shivered. raven looked at me with concern, "Bells are you good?" she asked raising her right eye brow.

I nodded to her, she shrugged her shoulders and opened the bedroom door. "I'm grabbing some cereal, want any?" I shock my head, she again shrugged and made her way downstairs leaving the door open. Walking over to is I was hoping It was nothing but the blood ran from my body as nail marks down the door appeared.

They did not reach above knee height and as I stared at them I felt someone watching me, I looked tot he stairs first and was surprised not to see anything or anyone. I turned to look behind me, Squeaking I jumped hitting the door hard as I saw Enzo's tired face staring at me.

He looked to the door first before me, I looked between him and the door before pointing at it. "Did you hear it?" my voice was soar and dry. He slowly nodded his head, his face somehow getting whiter.

"I-I saw it." I froze, I couldn't imagen what it was he saw and I didn't want to. Before he could open his mouth to talk we both jumped at our mother shrieking voice downstairs, we both let out a breath of fresh air before Raven's huffed face came stomping up the stairs.

she grabbed my arm muttering a good morning to my brother before pulling me in the room and slamming the door shut. "you mother is annoying." I nodded my head in agreement settling my tired body on the chair by the desk as she sat cross legged.

"So you said that you don't see your mothers side of the family right?" I nodded, wondering what she was getting at. "Enough to know that you don't know any of them correct?" again I nodded lifting up an eyebrow.

"Well, while you were asleep last night I did some digging." I cocked my head confused.

"Wait, how can that be I was awake all night." she shook her puffy head.

"Nope, at the beginning I was awake I drifted to sleep when you began to mumble something about opening something up... It's cute you sleep talk by the way."

I huffed at her, she grinned like the Cheshire cat before patting the bed beside her. getting off the chair I crawled over and sat beside her while she loaded an old Dell laptop. it was covered in stickers.

whne i loaded it was already open on a few news tabs, "so the story you mom told you was that the heads of the family passed away and everyone went their separate ways?" I nodded.

"Well the heads of the Hilliar family are alive and well look, they recently opened up an orphanage. what is worse is that the only family members that weren't in the news was Mark and your mother, so I did a bit more digging.

"According to the family your mothers dead and her Children are with their farther and his new wife. Mark is in the plains of Africa trying to make a difference. Mark is in fact a drug dealer who has been in prison to many times to count."

I was shocked purely shocked, Raven tapped my chin to remind me to close my mouth. I blushed and carried on listening to what she had to say. "I posed as you, connecting with one of the cousins you have named Jessica Moore."

Jessica Moore.. that sound familiar. I looked at the screen as she showed me a picture of a beautiful place hair women with tanned skin. she was with another women who had almost pure white hair and baby blue eyes as in her lap sat a littler silver hair girl.

I blinked a couple of times before making the connection. Mystic? she's family? but that would mean that Jessica would live around here. I pointed at the girl, "I think I know her." Raven nodded.

"I don't know a sole who doesn't." I looked at her remembering the towns people didn't like Mystic and her farther. Raven was different though right? I shook my head and gestured her to continue.

"Jessica Had some very interesting things to say. She knew from the beginning about Eleanor because she was the one who set Leonardo and Venessa up. Jessica and Leo were originally arragned to be married, he had slept with Venessa already in love with her.

"When she got pregnant the first time the family changed the wedding as Leo covered and told the family Eleanor was his. but when she was caught cheating on him and conceiving you Leo and Vanessa was thrown out.

"Vanessa lied to Leo about why they were leaving, something about being in danger or the kids were from the original farther of Eleanor." I took a moment to process it, my mind racing with what I had just heard.

I was the produce of two first cousins getting it on, what this what got Eleanor... No, I cannot think like that. there has to be a siple reasoning. I felt sick, running outt he room I pushed passed Enzo and threw up the remains for last nights meal.

I heard Enzo and Raven talking while my bile kept coming up, soon a large hand was lightly rubbing my spine. I staid hunched over the toilet till it felt safe to stand up. He helped me toom and took me back to y bed were I lay down and the two chatted about verious different things I zoned out on.
