The fresh faced dirty blonde stands alongside owen and tk in an elevator heading up to the 44th floor of the chrysler building.

TK leans closer to Owen and CK.

"I'm thinking of asking Alex to marry me tonight" tk reveals, "Teek! no way!" the girl exclaims face dropping as she witnesses their father turning around to face away, "dad please don't say anything negative alright?, I already bought the ring" the brown haired man pleads, "at least think of moving in together first" Owen retorts having never been a big fan of Alex but biting his tongue in the case of his sons happiness, "grand gestures right? isn't that what you say, big swings" TK says, "I've also been divorced twice" the oldest strand speaks before walking out the elevator slamming the door, "Ignore him Ty he's just feeling it cause his only son is all grown up" ck tries to lighten the mood.

"New York Fire!" Owen shouts trying to locate their victim climbing onto the ledge the two siblings following behind him, "oh god I love New York" owen continues, "just another day at the office" ck remarks sarcastically. Back on the ground, the trio make quick work of putting the equipment back, "so uh? you gonna tell me what you really think of this proposal or you just gonna keep pretending like you don't have an opinion?" tk asks owen, "you're an adult you think it's right" owen pauses, "I say go for it" owen finishes, "really?" tk asks, "yeah" owen confirms, "thanks dad" he tells his father as they share a hug before pulling his younger sister into one pulling apart as owen begins coughing. "Hey you okay?" tk asks his father, "yeah that sounds pretty bad" ck adds, "yeah it's some viral thing that i can't kick, I'm gonna go to the doctor for some more antibiotics" owen reassures, "all right" his son nods, "don't be afraid to rest dad tk" ck warns, "hey. I'm happy for you" owen tells his son nodding in response to his daughter.

The next morning CK watches from afar as her father takes two smartly dressed individuals into his office to have a chat watching as they look to be having a serious chat the two individuals looking to want something from her dad due to the disappointment on their faces when they leave his office. CK leans on the door to her fathers office.

"So what've you done now?" ck asks Owen, the man being known for going against peoples decisions, "nothing this time it was about something else" owen argues, "TK hasn't turned up for his shift yet, I'm worried you know Alex isn't the best and I haven't been home because I stayed at moms place last night" ck explains, another member of their crew walks by, "hey, do you know where tk is?" owen asks the female crew member amy, "we thought you could tell us he hasn't come in yet" amy reveals, "get your jacket and get in the car now" owen instructs, ck nods following her fathers orders.

The father and daughter stand on the doorstep of tk's apartment building Owen pressing the buzzers repeatedly  until someone lets the two in as they race up to tk's apartment.

"TK! open the door!" owen shouts getting no response, "TK! open up" ck shouts whilst hammering on the door, owen pulls out his phone proceeding to call for help not allowing his youngest child to kick the door in. "Mary, It's captain strand I need the ladder ambulance at 2735 west 7th, apartment 105, and bring the battering ram" owen requests.

The crew burst through the door using the battering ram owen and ck pushing their way through to get to tk.

"TK?" owen shouts moving through the hall with ck following behind him coming face to face with an unconscious tk next to a bottle of pills, "TK!" owen shouts turning his son onto his front, "TK!" owen tries again hoping his son will open his eyes, CK grabs the med kit and preps the resuscitator bag as her father begins cpr on TK, "he's in cardiac arrest" owen tells one of the paramedics, "sir you should let us take over" the paramedic tries to reason with him as another crew member forces his daughter to give up the med kit causing her to take her place at her fathers side in front of her brother, "give me the narcan!" owen demands a crew member passes it to him watching as he administers it to tk who comes out of the arrest causing the resuscitator bag to be removed and TK's pulse to be checked, "he's back" a crew member announces, "easy" another member warns as Tk turns his head and pukes heavy breathing after doing so. "Dad, dad" tk chokes out leaning up to get to owen who embraces him and his sister at the same time holding the two close as the pair cry, "dad" tk cries, "It's okay" owen reassures, "I'm so sorry" tk cries, "It's okay, It's okay" owen comforts before removing his hand from TK's back to wipe ck's tears away, "It's okay TK, we've got you" the girl reassures her brother, ck links her arm through tk's as the crew guide them down to the ambulance unlinking it as they make tk
sit on the gurney.
