What Can I Do For Now

Toshinori and Tenshi were waiting on the beach for Midoriya.

Tenshi turned around when she heard someone running towards them, "Hi, Midoriya!" she smiled warmly.

"Hi, Tenshi! Hi, All Might!" Midoriya greeted in tears.

Tenshi froze as blood sprayed out of Toshinori's mouth.

"Chill out, kid!" Toshinori exclaimed.

"All Might's here?!" they a person ask from the dock.

"No way!" another person exclaimed.

"Way to blow my cover!" Toshinori harshly whispered.

"Quick, say it was a mistake" Tenshi panicked.

Midoriya waved his arms in the air like a lunatic, "I was just kidding! Nothing to see here!"

"Lame." they heard the first person mope.

"I wanted an autograph."

"That was close." Tenshi sighed in relief.

"Congrats on getting in." Toshinori said and held his hand out for a high-five.

"I couldn't have done it without either of you." Midoriya said as he high-fived Toshinori.

"Oh, speaking of which, I didn't tell anyone at U.A. that we've been training you or anything. Really, I wasn't one of the judges and I didn't pull any strings for ya."

"Uh-huh!" Tenshi nodded enthusiastically, "You earned that spot all on your own!"

Midoriya bowed gratefully, "Thanks for telling me. I'm glad to hear that. Oh, yeah, I was really surprised to hear that you're gonna be a teacher at U.A. this year. I was wondering what brought you here all of a sudden. After all, your agency is in Minato, Tokyo, and everyone knows-"

"Gettin' creepy." Toshinori interrupted, "The school didn't want me telling anyone about the job until they made an official announcement. It's seemly fortuitous timing. An easy way to find someone new to inherit One For All."

"I was... on a long hunt for a successor." Toshinori said in a flashback.

Midoriya was silent for a bit before he looked down and said, "Your power completely wrecked my body. And all I did was jump and throw one punch. I can't control it, what do I do?"

"You'll learn to manage it in time." Toshinori told him, "Hoping to master it right away is like asking a baby to run a marathon. You still have to go through the process of learning how to walk."

"Yeah..." Midoriya then looked up, "Wait! You knew I was gonna get hurt that badly!?"

"Well... we were in a time crunch."

"But it turned out alright." Tenshi inputted, "Plus, now you know what you're dealing with."

"Right now, your quirk is either all or nothing." Toshinori said as he picked up two empty gas cans, "One day, you'll learn to control your output, then you'll be able to adjust exactly how much power you're using."

"I just need control?" Midoriya asked.

"You're overflowing with energy at the moment. When training, your body will hold it better." Toshinori turned into his All Might form and crushed the cans, "Then it's yours to command!"
