Kyubey slept the whole ride home. Aizawa carried her inside, letting her sleep as he laid her in her bed of stuffed animals that she preferred over the real bed that sat against the far right wall. He pulled a blanket over her and gently rubbed her head before leaving her room, going to make dinner for the other kids.

Dabi didn't want to leave her but he forced himself to go find something else to do.

"You guys were gone all day. What were you doing?" asked Shiggy, never looking up from his Gameboy and Dabi suppressed a smile. "We were at the park. She told me her name. And she has such a nice voice." he said quietly and Shiggy's head snapped up so quick he didn't even notice when he died. "What?"

"Yeah. It was nice." said Dabi, only to frown in annoyance when Keigo jumped over the couch, clinging onto him. He messed with his hair and Dabi scowled, shoving him away. "Will you stop it? You're so annoying." he muttered and Keigo ignored that. "You know it's weird that you stay around her so often. Do you have a crush on her?" he taunted and Dabi gave him a deadpan stare.

"Fuck. Off."

"Aizawa said to stop cussing like that Dabi." repeated Keigo and Dabi rolled his eyes. "Just leave me alone okay?" he muttered and Keigo pouted, his wings furling up slightly. "But I wanna know what she likes, so I can take your spot."

Dabi tensed up and Shiggy sighed. "Keigo stop taunting him. Aizawa talked about this." he said and Keigo ignored that as he poked Dabi, the older boy's expression obviously annoyed. "Come on Touya, don't be a downer."

Dabi expression darkened and the room began to heat up. "Don't call me that."

"Why not? I heard you don't mind when Tails-"

"Don't. Only I call her that." Dabi bit out, his blood boiling and Shiggy seemed worried. "Keigo. Seriously." he stated and Keigo waved him off, a smirk on his stupid face. "What will you do if I keep calling you To-"

"Knock it off." called Aizawa firmly from the kitchen and Keigo huffed. "It's just a name. What, is it a trauma response?" he mumbled and Dabi couldn't take it anymore. He stomped off and Shiggy winced when he heard the front door slam and the slightest smell of burnt wood. "You're a dick sometimes." he said and Keigo shrugged. "He's just sensitive."

"He wouldn't be if you two didn't have some weird rivalry going on." said Tsyu as she plopped onto the couch, eating a bag of chips and Keigo didn't respond.

Aizawa sighed knowing that he should go find Dabi but knew he needed space at the moment. "When he comes back you need to apologize Keigo." He spoke. "But I just wanted to know her name." Keigo whined in protest. "When she's willing to talk then you'll know." Aizawa responded going back to cooking.

But that was soon cut short when the sound of Kyubey screaming from her bedroom caught his attention. Aizawa quickly made his way to the room, pulling open the door quickly he saw the little girl curled up in the corner steam coming off of her body. She trembled violent clenching at her teddy bear so tightly she was putting holes into it. "Sweetie.. it's alright. I'm here. You're safe here, no one's going to hurt you." he said cautiously approaching her.

The little girl whined moving further away from him, shaking her head quickly. "N-no...I..I want Touya." She cried hiding her face in her teddy bear.

Damnit.

"Shiggy! I need you to go find Touya." Aizawa called out, turning slightly to see the young boy standing there in the door. He looked at him and nodded before he quickly ran off. Aizawa looked back to the little girl and slowly got down on his knees. "I need to know what's wrong sweetie. I can't help you if I don't know." he spoke reaching out gently to touch her.

The little girl's eyes widened in horror. She put her hands up to protect herself. Blue flames erupted from her hands. "N-No! I'm sorry. I didn't mean to talk...I won't do it anymore. Please don't hit me!" she screamed and Aizawa's eyes widened slightly.

So that's why she wouldn't talk, she was afraid that someone would hit her if she did. The thought of someone doing that to her made his blood boil.

"Touya! Aizawa needs you..something's wrong with Tails. She's scared and wants you." Shiggy spoke with urgency as he finally found his brother. Dabi had been irritated until he heard that, the irritation replaced with worry.

Dabi immediately jumped up and rushed after Shiggy as he opened the front door, letting Dabi in first. Keigo looked pale and Tsyu was silent as Kyubey's screams filled the house. Dabi could feel heat and he knew she was doing the same thing he still sometimes did after a nightmare.

She was losing control.

He entered their room and saw Aizawa standing off to the side, unable to approach her but obviously worried. She was whimpering and trying to curl into herself when he slowly approached her bed. "Kyubey..?" he called quietly and she flinched. "Touya..?" she whispered and he gave a sad smile. "Yeah. I'm here. Can I touch you?" he asked and she nodded quickly.

He came to her bedside and climbed into the bed, grunting when she immediately clung to him, hiding her face in his shirt. Her body was soaked with sweat and she was really hot but he didn't mind as he rubbed her back gently, ignoring stares he felt.

"You're okay. No one's gonna hurt you." he said and she sniffled. "They..said I- I couldn't talk. They said they would hurt me if I did.." she rasped and Dabi frowned. "Well they're not here. They can't stop you from talking. And if they were here, we won't let them hurt you..not me or Aizawa. Look at me." he said and Kyubey looked up, her eyes bloodshot from crying so hard.

"I promise I won't let anyone hurt you ever again. If they do, they'll regret it." he said, a fire in his eyes and she hid her face. "Thank you." she said and Dabi squeezed her gently. "Don't thank me." she held onto him tightly until she finally fell asleep once again gently holding onto Dabi in her sleep unwilling to let go. "I'll let you stay with her for the night. If she wakes up again, maybe she won't be so scared." Aizawa spoke coming to their side.

"Okay." he said, now yawning himself and Aizawa thought it was actually kinda cute. Dabi took off his shoes carefully and Aizawa stood, glaring at the kids in the doorway. "Go mind your own business. Dinner will be done in a minute." he stated and Keigo and the others rushed off. Aizawa shook his head and glanced back one last time to see that both Dabi and Kyubey apparently, were up under the covers, asleep.

He looked much more relaxed than he usually did. Looks like neither of them would be having nightmares that night.
