Part Thirty-Two: the Wheel Technique

"Hey, Robby," Gwen welcomed, as she saw him walking in. "Was the first turn clockwise or counterclockwise?"

"I don't know. What's the point even? How's a stupid dance gonna save us in a fight!" Robby angrily said, walking into the dojo. Gwen walked to the back, hoping that her dad had found something interesting to do. Which he did. He was taking the bonsais off of the balance board.

"Hey, Mr. Karate Dude," Gwen said.

"Ah, Cobra Kai already getting into you," he chuckled, hugging his daughter. "Oh my, I'm sorry, I'm wet."

"I know. I was already wet."

"How?"

"I got a shower at home," she lied. She was still basically soaked from Cobra Kai training.

"Dad? Dad, what're you doing?" Sam asked.

"Mr. Miyagi built this a few years before he died. He said it was a monument to balance. But today, it isn't gonna balance bonsais. It gonna help you three learn the wheel technique. Hop in," he said, gesturing to the pond. Gwen immediantly hopped in, hoping to wash off the bit of cement that Daniel didn't notice earlier.

"You actually want us to get in there," Sam said.

Gwen swiped her hand, getting Sam and Robby wet.

"Hey, what the hell," Sam said, kinda chuckling while also being serious. 

"Well, now you're wet, so might as well, and since when has a little water ever hurt anyone?" Gwen chuckled. Sam and Robby got into the pool.

"Tell that to the Titanic," Sam mumbled.

"Oh, it's cold!" Robby said. At this point, Gwen was already on the board.

"Oh my God, Dad, what did I step on?!" Sam shuddered. By the time Robby and Sam made it to the board, Gwen finished French-braiding her hair.

"If we can't do it on the ground, who we supposed to do it on this," Robby said, pushing down the board, making Gwen slide to the right.

"On the ground, it's hard to sense what your partner is doing. On that deck, trust me you'll feel it right away," Daniel obstructed.

Robby and Sam slowly got up. "But Dad, this thing only balanced TWO bonsais, how is it gonna hold THREE teens?" Gwen ask. "It doesn't matter, you just need to stay balanced!"

Gwen slowly sat up, wobbling. "Look at each other," Daniel constructed. "Sense each other. OK, take your starting positions!"

Gwen began the technique, slowly, but surely. She brought her hand up in the form of an triangle. Robby wobbled a but more, which contracted to Gwen, she held steady fortunately.

The did a sharp movement, making them wobble.

They began going faster. They began wobbling around, making Robby and Sam fall. "Haha! I'm the King of the world!" She yelled, still standing but was in the middle, balanced. Robby and Sam pulled the deck down making her fall.

"Hey!" She yelled, falling into the pond. She and Sam laughed, while Robby laughed at Gwen.

"You're just finding your footing!"
