Almost immediately after, the kids were kicked to inside the dojo. But, of course, the opened the door a bit to listen into the conversation between Daniel and the mysterious rich man.
Daniel seethed. "I don't know what padded room you crawled out of, Silver, or what twisted game you two are playing, but if you don't get off my property right now, I swear to God—"
Gwen listened in, peeking her head underneath Miguel's in the slightly opened doorway. "Your dad is pissed. Who is that guy?"
Gwen shook her head, completely confused. "No idea," Gwen added.
"Agreed," Sam said.
"He looks like a Highlander," Bert muttered.
"The Highlander. There can only be one," Nate corrected.
Gwen bumped them with her elbow. "Alright, nerds, please shut up so my grandma ears can listen. Gracias," Gwen sorta demanded.
"Okay," the "Silver" guy said as Gwen continued to listen into their conversation. "Okay, I tried. We'll still hold our students to a moratorium before the tournament, for what it's worth." He paused, looking at Gwen's father, who continued glaring at him. "Provided, of course, you do the same."
"Just remember our deal," Kreese stepped in, pointing at Daniel. "If Cobra Kai wins the All Valley, you two are done teaching. For good."
"That's not gonna happen," Daniel stepped in. "Cause you're not gonna win. Now get the hell out of here."
"Silver" looked at Daniel, shaking his head before looking up at Gwen. "Congrats on your recovery, Miss. LaRusso. Quite the fighter you seem to be," he said to her, as she squinted her eyes.
"Thanks," she murmured, as Silver turned around, walking out of the dojo. Gwen looked at all the students, confused and anxious.
The next morning, Gwen woke up to the sound of her phone ringing, instead of her regular alarm. She groaned, crawling across to her bed so she could barely reach to her bedside stand and grab her phone. She grabbed it, not even minding to check who it was. Her brightness was turned up and she was still getting used to the very dim light in her bedroom. She answered it, with a weak, "hello?"
"Morning, princess," Miguel answered, as if he'd been sleeping as well.
Gwen smiled, taking a breath. "Morning, Mig. How'd you sleep?" She asked, rubbing her eyes.
"Eh, fine, I guess... Hey, did you check your Twitter yet?" He asked her, curiosity hanging in his voice. Her eyebrows scrunched up as she sat up, running her hands through her messy bun.
"No, I just got up... YOU woke me up," She added, jokingly hostile.
Miguel laughed. "My bad, babe." He stopped chuckling, slowly. "But, there's something else."
