Gwen walked beside Miguel to the door. They both walked in and Gwen got bombarded with smiles and Miguel got bombarded with kisses from his mother.

"Ms. Diaz, you sure it's fine that I stay tonight?" Gwen asked again.

"Please, Gwen, you're always welcome," Carmen said, grabbing her hands.

A while later, while Miguel were bored and watched "The Lorax" while Carmen and Rosa went to bed. Miguel was sitting on the couch with his arm around her, for all he knew she was awake. But when he looked over her eyes were fluttering shut.

He smiled. She was so beautiful. Her smile could make anyone brighten up and he could see that. He softly tilted her head onto his shoulder, aiming for her NOT to have a bad crook in the neck when she wakes up. Gwen woke up the next morning
to Miguel, who was still asleep, still holding her shoulders. She got up carefully to not wake him up. She smiled and quietly giggled. She got on her phone and checked notifications. Texts from her dad, Maggie, music recommendations on Trebbel, and a few others.

She was frightened when she heard a sound. "Morning, Baby," Miguel had whispered. He smiled once she jumped.

"Looks like we got a flincher," he said, remembering that one Cobra Kai lesson.

"You know what we do to flinchers?" Miguel asked. She leaned down and kissed him, pulling him close. Her soft lips touched his and she smiled in between kisses.

She wiped her eyed and stretched out.
