Scene 2: Hallway
People are in the hallways, different cliques are everywhere. Jocks, cheerleaders, (where Jasmine is) brainiacs, rednecks/cowboys. Everyone starts whispering when Asher and Sam walk in from the right side of the stage
Asher: (To Sam) It's the last day of senior year, you'd think they'd give us a break-
Two bullies come up from behind and slam Sam and Asher into the lockers.
Sam: It must be sad
Jared: What? Your life?
Sam: No, yours. You must have such a sad life if the only joy you find is picking on people who make you feel uncomfortable.
Jared: Maybe you shouldn't make people feel uncomfortable queer.
Sam: Maybe you shouldn't be a judge-mental asshole.
Jared and Chuck start to advance on Sam and Asher puts himself in front of him.
Chuck: Aw, you going to protect your boyfr-
Asher: You know, beating someone up with your boyfriend isn't what I'd consider a very romantic date
Chuck Punches Asher. The different cliques start cheering them on. Sam tries to help Asher, but Jared grabs him and starts to beat him up
Teacher: Hey! Break it up! Break it up I said! Now, go to class, all of you.
Everyone leaves. Sam helps Asher up, who's covered in blood. The teacher looks at them, and then leaves.
Sam: Let's get you to the nurse
Asher: Nothing's broken. Let's just go to class.
Sam: You're bleeding dumba-
Asher: And we're late for class shithead.
They smile at each other, and exit.
