Trigger warning: same as last chapter
Scene 3: Outside the High School
The bell rings, and all the students come running out screaming
Sam: Your nose feeling any better?
Asher: Not broken, definitely bruised up though.
Chuck and Jared approach Asher and Sam
Chuck: It'll be broken when I'm done with you.
Sam: Hey, here's a thought. Why don't we just go our separate ways? School's over, we'll probably never see each other again after this.
Jared: But that takes the fun out of beating up emos like you
Asher: You say emo as if it's a bad thing. And newsflash, beating the shit out of people doesn't make you some "big, tough man." It just shows how weak you really are.
Jared: You calling me weak?
Jared pushes Asher on the ground, gets on top of him and starts beating him up.
Jared: Who's weak now?
Chuck tries to help Jared, but Sam stops him and they start fighting. Jasmine leaves the cheerleaders, who are signing yearbooks in the back and storms up to them
Jasmine: Jared! Jared, stop!
Jared: Babe, don't worry about it. I'll meet up with you in a sec.
Asher: Or maybe not. He seems to enjoy being on top of me.
Sam tries to snuffle a laugh and Asher and him share a look before Jared punches him again
Jasmine: Jared, get up. Now.
Jared: Did you not hear what this fag just said-
Jasmine: Stop! Stop calling them that!
Jared: But they are! They're gothic ass qu-
Jasmine: We're done Jared. It's over
Everyone goes quiet. Jared looks back at Jasmine, but she's already turned around and walks off stage. Jared gets up off of Asher.
Jared: Jasmine! Wait, what do you mean we're done??
Just before he leaves the stage, he turns back to Sam and Asher
Jared: You're still dead meat. Both of you.
Jared exits the same way as Jasmine, and Chuck follows. Everyone else leaves. Sam holds his hand out to help Asher up. They exit the opposite way.
