Scene 3: The Bar

The scene opens up to a gay bar. Note to self, look up if there are any gay bars in LA. 

All of the guys enter together.

Zakk: Alright alright alright!!

Jawn: You guys stay here, Travis and I will get you guys drinks.

Sam: Sounds good.

Travis: Zakk, come with

Zakk: But I'm not 21-

Travis drags him along, leaving our bois alone

Sam turns to see Asher looking skirmish and slightly upset.

Sam: Hey, you alright?

Asher: Yeah! Yeah, just uh. I don't know. I feel... wrong. Like I shouldn't be celebrating right now.

Sam: ...does this have to do with Jasmine?

Asher: what? Oh, no. I mean, I still feel like shit about that too, but I'm talking about working. Everything my parents said to me that day has been running around my head like crazy. I'm in a constant state of feeling like if I'm not working on our dream, I'm a failure, and I can't bare the thought of-

Sam grabs him by the shoulders

Sam: hey. Air out

Asher: *blows air out*

Sam: three big breaths in

Asher: breathes in

Sam: one... two... three, good, hold for four. One, two, three, four, good, now seven out

Asher: *breathes out*

Sam: one, two, three, four, five, six, seven.

Asher. Okay. I'm good.

Sam: We are good. We have done so much good work. The album is nearly done, we have a great demo that we've sent out to multiple places already, and we made it our first month and we're able to pay rent with our own money! We only dipped a little bit into savings and that's because it took us a couple days to get settled into the new jobs. If anyone deserves to celebrate, it's you. And me, obviously.

Asher: ... you're right. You're always right.

Sam: Correct, I am always right. Guess that makes me good wife material.

Neither of them fully register this comment because Travis and Jawn come back with drinks

Jawn: Here you go dip-shits!!

Zakk: to LA!!

Everyone: TO LA!!
