Scene 9: The Party
The scene opens up at a house party. Everyone is dancing, grinding, drinking, all that jazz. Music keeps playing, but everyone stops when Sam and Asher walk in
Sam: Why did I let you talk me into this?
Asher: Um... good question, maybe we should just leave-
Jasmine: Hey guys! You made it!
Everyone sort of goes back to what they were doing when Jasmine approaches them
Jasmine: Sorry about... well everyone. They're not used to you guys being around at things like this.
Sam: Completely understandable
Asher: But, we're happy to be here.
Sam gives him a look that says "I'm still not sure about this" and sighs
Sam: Truly. Sorry if I sound a little like an asshat. It is exciting to be at a stereotypical party, but, you know. Nerves.
Jasmine: Fair enough, but don't worry about it. I'm not going to let anything happen while you guys are here-
Emily: Jazzy!!!!!!
Jasmine: Emmy!!!
Asher: *Same enthusiasm* who's this?????
Sam: *also same enthusiasm* No idea!!!!
Emily: Haha, I'm Emily, I'm a friend of Jazzy's from the cheerleading team. Is this the-
Jasmine: New friends I've made, yes, this is Asher and Sam.
Emily: Ohhhhhhh, nice to fucking meet you!
*these next lines are said to the beat of Watch What Happens Next*
Sam: let's get a little see through
Asher: Oh my gosh you nerd!
Sam: yeah yeah!
*back to normal*
Emily: ... What?
Asher: Sorry, he's in a music mood-
Jared: Well look who decided to show up!
Chuck: It's not a party till the qu-
Jasmine: Shut the fuck up Chuck.
Sam: Can that be a song lyric?
Asher: Absolutely not.
Sam: *slightly rapping* up chucking fucks losing all the hope I've got-
Asher: I refuse to tell you that that was actually good, it will not be in a song
Sam: Damn it.
Everyone is staring at them like they're crazy
Jared: You guys... rap or something?
Asher: Or something. Not sure it's any of your business though
Chuck: But that was... not too bad. You know there's karaoke, you guys should check it out.
Sam: And what, you guys will just hang back and give us a standing ovation? I'm all for giving others entertainment, but I won't be a pre show to a beat down.
Asher: Agreed.
Emily: I'll make sure they lay off, right Chuck?
Chuck: I mean, if you're not shit, there would be no point in beating you up.
