Final Chapter
Truly we never know the time. We can't even predict it. We'll only notice things when it's done and we'll ask how did it happened. But one thing is for sure, everything happens for a reason, wether it was for good or for bad it will always have a purpose, either to teach us a lesson or to give us experience that we surely could bring until our last breathe.
Sometimes things also happened on the times we less expected it. When we thought that it was not yet time for us to experience it but it happened anyway and you can't do nothing but to accept it.
Acceptance. It was the only choice that we have once we encounter things we never want to happen.
Our love story isn't like a Whirlwind romance, nor a typical against the odds love story. It wasn't that special but for me it was enough, it was light and that is what I've been praying for.
When I was on my younger years I've always keep on praying to God to give me love I really desired, because honestly, falling in love is one of the scariest phase in life for me. Kung p'wede lang na humiling sa itaas na 'wag na lang akong mahulog kahit kanino ay ginawa ko na, ngunit may parte din sa puso ko na gustong maranasan ang sinasabi nilang nakakabaliw na pag-ibig.
Namulat ako sa kaalaman na bawat kwentong pag-ibig ay may kanya-kanyang disenyo, maaaring may magkapareho ngunit marami pa ring pagkakaiba, wether it was feelings, emotion or experience.
Love stories may have different design but it doesn't mean everything about it is unique.
Love is an emotion that everybody could relate. Most especially the two people that was hit by it.
"I want to experience a late night drive with you." Bulong ni Kasper habang nakatingala sa kalangitan.
I chuckled, "ako rin."
Hindi ko maiwasang isipin na medyo matagal pa bago mangyari 'yon lalo na 't strict ang parents ko. Ngayon lang nga ako nakatambay sa labas ng dis oras ng gabi at may guard pa.
Ilang oras na rin kaming nakatambay ni Kasper sa labas, nakaupo kaming dalawa sa hood ng Aston Martin. Sa kabilang dako naman ng kalsada ay ang aming gwardiya na nakaupo sa isang plastic na upuan, binabantayan kami.
Good thing he wasn't there when me and Kasper do that private thing. It would surely be embarrassing on my part, bakit ba kasi rito pa ako naisipang halikan ni Kasper? Gusto kong magreklamo dahil wala man lang ka-romantic romantic ang unang halik ko ngunit nahihiya rin ako para sa aking sarili lalo na 't alam kong mismong ako ay nadala rin sa oras na 'yon.
"Epal naman ng guard niyo, Babs. Hindi tuloy kita mayakap." Inis na bulong ni Kasper.
Tumawa ulit ako. "Ang landi mo kasi, pinabantayan tuloy tayo."
Kasper took my hand and intertwined it with his.
"Eto nalang muna sa ngayon." Sabay hawak ng mahigpit sa kamay ko.
I smirk and hold his hand tightly, too. Bahagya akong umusog palapit sa kanya saka ko ipinatong ang aking ulo sa kanyang balikat.
Masyado ng malalim at malamig ang gabi ngunit dahil katabi ko siya ay hindi ko ito masyadong randam. Hindi ko inaasahan na kahit ang ganito ka simpleng interaksiyon ay may malaking epekto sa akin, it was a simple get together yet it felt so special for me.
No'ng una akala ko pag in a relationship ka kailangan palaging romantic, from the ambiance, settings and everything, but now I realize that relationship doesn't actually work out through romantic things or romantic date. It works out because you're romantically in love with the person you choose to be with and the rest was just a bonus.
