Ch 5: Dooku Captured

Obi-Wan and I suited up as I put my helmet on.

"I can really do this alone" I said.

"Boarding a Separatist ship?" He said. "No offense, but you can be as reckless as Anakin sometimes."

I rolled my eyes as we entered space. We landed on top of the ship as Obi-Wan pressed a button. We flew down into the shaft, instantly taking off the gear.

I followed him as we ran down the hall. I looked at the cells, trying to sense Anakin. Obi-Wan pressed the button of one of the cells as the doors opened traveling two prisoners.

"Don't bother getting up" Obi-Wan said.

He quickly shut the doors again as I walked to the next one opening the door. I slowly walked in, seeing nobody. We both turned around, grabbing our sabers as someone jumped down from the ceiling.

"Oh it's you" Anakin said looking at Obi-Wan. "And you."

I smiling, putting my saber back to my belt.

"This is how you thank us for rescuing you? Pouncing on us from the ceiling" I said.

"Kind of difficult without a lightsaber" he said.

I handed him, his saber back as he smiled.

"Thanks" he said.

"Did you manage to locate Dooku before landing in jail?" Obi-Wan asked.

"Well, I know he's on board" he said. "I might have been able to do something about it if I'd had my weapon."

"It was important for you to arrive without it so your capture would be convincing" I said.

"Oh, they were convinced, all right" he said. "But how come I'm the one getting caught all the time? It doesn't look good."

"When you're a Jedi Master, you can make the plan" Obi-Wan said.

"That's just it. How can I become a Jedi Master if I'm always getting caught?" He asked.

"At least your a master at getting caught" I said.

"Very funny" he said.

I led the way into a room as Dooku sat in the middle with his eyes closed.

"Surprise, surprise" Anakin said.

Anakin and Obi-Wan ignited their sabers as I glared at Dooku.

"Well if it isn't Count Dooku" Obi-Wan said.

"Obi-Wan Kenobi. I thought I sensed an unpleasant disturbance in the Force" Dooku said. "I see you and Organa have freed young Skywalker. Where might he be if you weren't always around to rescue him?"

"Your ship is surrounded, Dooku. Republic troops are boarding as we speak" I said.

"Jedi fools" Dooku said.

Dooku disappeared as the panel he was sitting on lowered.

"I should've seen that coming" Obi-Wan said.

Anakin ran over, looking down.

"What are you doing!" I said.

"Following him" he said.

"Not that way. We need to cut him off" I said.

"You two cut him off. I'll follow him and meet you at the hangar" he said.

"Why do you even try?" Obi-Wan asked.

"I don't know" I said.

We ran out of the room and down the hall. The doors slid open as Dooku began to take off in his ship. I looked at the ship, running towards it with Obi-Wan behind me. I grabbed one of my sabers, slashing the droids as we got on. I turned on the ship as Obi-Wan smacked my hand.
