"All clear, sir" Gree said. "There are no Separatists craft in the system."
I walked away as Anakin followed.
"It's been ten rotations since Master Yoda's transmission. I just hope we're not too late" he said.
"Rex, take us down" I said.
"Yes, sir" he said.
I got on my speeder in the shuttle looking at Gree.
"You alright?" He asked.
I slowly nodded as the shuttle landed. Rex hopped in beside me as we sped off, looking at Anakin and Ahsoka.
"Anybody else think it's too quiet?" Ahsoka asked. "I haven't seen any colonists."
"They're probably hiding" Anakin said.
"Let's hope they stay hidden. It makes our job easier if we don't have to worry about them in battle" I said.
"I don't like it" Rex said. "The clankers have never been shy about using civvies as living shields."
"I'm sure they're here somewhere" Anakin said.
We went for the center of the village as biker droids appeared.
"Biker droids, dead ahead" Ahsoka said.
Rex began shooting at them while I took out one of my sabers. I stabbed it into the engine of one of the bikes. We reached the center as a handful of battle droids stood there with two tanks. Rex blew one of them up while Ahsoka put grenades in the other.
"Rex, have your men secure the area" I said.
He nodded jumping out of the speeder. I looked around walking towards Buzz and Grey.
"How are we doing, Buzz?" I asked.
"We're still mopping up clankers here and there, sir" he said. "We've established a perimeter around the Governor's Tower. No one gets out without a fight."
"Good work" I said.
I turned around to Gree walking towards me.
"Gree, any word from the Separatist commander?" I asked.
"He's barricaded inside" he said. "His name is Darts D'Nar. He's sent you a message, sir."
He pulled out his transmitter as a hologram appeared.
"Master Organa, come to the tower. We will negotiate terms for surrender" he said.
"Well, that was easy" I said.
Anakin held his hand out crushing the transmitter.
"Zygerrian scum" he said. "I'll handle that slaver."
"Anakin, he asked for me" I said. "I need you to locate the missing Togruta colonists."
"I'm not letting you go alone in there, with him!" He said.
"I will be fine!" I said.
"Fine. I'll have Admiral Yularen initiate a planetary bio scan" he snapped.
"Why is he so upset?" Ahsoka asked.
I looked over my shoulder, sighing.
"Anakin has never talked about his past, has he?" I asked.
"Only to tell me he won't talk about it" she said.
"As a child, Anakin and his mother were sold into slavery by the Hutt clans" I said.
"Oh" she said looking down. "And these Zygerrians, they're slavers?"
"He's struggled to put his past behind him" I said.
