Blurs of lightsabers appeared. Blue and purple, clashing against each other.

"I don't want you to die" was heard.

"If that is my destiny, then so be it!" Someone said. "You cannot change what lies ahead of my path!"

"No!"

"You are more than this! You are not a killer!"

"The Jedi are the reason Cal is dead!"

I sat up, catching my breath. I looked over to Anakin who was sound asleep. I slowly got out of the bed to not wake him. I glared out the window not realizing Anakin was behind me.

"What's wrong?" He asked.

"Nothing" I sighed.

I looked over to him, to see he was sweating.

"Are you okay?" I asked.

"I saw you die" he said. "At the hands of a Jedi.

"The only Jedi who would be able to kill me are all close to me" I said. "I doubt you, Obi-Wan or Mace would kill me."

I put my hand to his cheek as he closed his eyes. I wrapped my arms around his body, placing my head on his chest.

"Do you remember when we first met?" I asked.

"Of course" he laughed. "You didn't seem to like me much."

"It's not that I didn't like you, I didn't know you" I said. "Look at us now."

He squeezed my body before kissing the top of my head.

"I wish it could be like this all the time" I said.

"It could be" he said.

I looked up as he pushed my hair back.

"We've talked about this, Anakin" I said.

"The Jedi don't need us" he said.

"But they do" I said. "This war is going to keep going on and on until a side wins. You want to leave and have kids but is this what you want to bring them into? A life of no peace? Just war?"

I walked towards the bed as he slowly walked over, laying down beside me. He grabbed my body, pulling it closer to his. Within a couple minutes we fell back asleep.

When I woke up Anakin was already gone. I sat up walking over to grab my uniform. I pulled my boots on before leaving my quarters. I stopped walking, going back to change my utility belt. I took off the gray one before grabbing the dark blue one Cal had made. I clipped my sabers onto it as I left.

I walked down to one of the Jedi situation rooms, staring at the center console. I pressed the buttons as a star chart appeared. The doors opened as I turned around. Anakin walked in smiling as I turned back to the star chart.

"I was just thinking" he said. "We're supposed to be on a meditative retreat. We should go away somewhere. I know a place where we can go that no one would recognize us."

I rolled my eyes, not saying a word.

"Yeah, it'll be like we're actually husband and wife. Instead of Jedi and Jedi" he said.

I turned around to him as he smiled.

"I can't, Anakin" I said.

"What do you mean you can't?" He asked. "It's only two weeks. We'll be back before anyone even notices were gone."

"I told Master Yoda that Cal and I would help training with the younglings" I said. "And I've bailed so many times for last minute missions."

"Uh-huh so that's more important than the way you feel about me?" He asked. "

"Not more important but important" I said. "The younglings are the future of the Jedi."

"Isn't my love more important to you?" He asked. "To me there is nothing more important than the way I feel about you. Nothing."

"Anakin!" I said. "My love for you is everything and more. Don't ever question that."

He grabbed his saber from his belt before handing it to me.

"When I finished constructing my lightsaber. Obi-Wan said to me 'Anakin, this weapon is your life'. This weapon is my life" he said.

"Anakin, I can't" I said.

He took my hand, placing it in it. I sighed, looking at the white handle.

"I've fought my entire life with purple sabers" I said. "It would be kind of suspicious to all of a sudden get a blue one."

"Would be kind of cool to see you with a blue one" he smiled.

I looked down at my belt, taking one of my sabers off before replacing it with Anakins.

"Cal's been looking for you, by the way" he said.

He pushed my hair back before placing his lips on mine. As we pulled apart, I grabbed his chin before walking away. I went down the hall as Kit Fisto walked towards me.

"Master Fisto, have you seen my padawan Cal?" I asked.

"He has been waiting for you outside" he said.

"Thank you" I said.

I walked outside the temple to see Cal sitting alone. I smiled as his eyes lit up.

"You're wearing the belt" he said.

"It looks a lot better than my old one" I said. "Now we're matching."

"I was thinking, maybe we should..." he said.

I smiled listening to him ramble on and on, not fully listening to the words, just looking at the pure excitement and happiness in his face.

My mind soon went to the dream. The vague words I could hear. The Jedi are the reason Cal is dead. My smile faded at the thought.

"Hey!" He said pulling me out of the trance.

"Yeah" I said.

"Are you okay, Master?" He asked.

"I'm fine" I said.

He tilted his head, not believing it.

"Anyways, we should start the training with the younglings" he said.

I nodded as we went back inside.
