"They keep coming!" I said.
"Luna, hold them off. I'll go check on Rex and Echo" Anakin said.
I nodded as he ran towards the door. I threw one of my sabers as it went through the center of a droids. I held my hand as it came back. The droids closed in as we were forced to go into the room. I stabbed one of my sabers into the panel on the side as the door shut.
"It's gonna get more difficult to get out of here" Hunter said.
The droids began to open the doors as I held my hands up. I quickly the shut the doors as Crosshair and Hunter secured the doors.
"Tech, how much longer!" I asked.
"Not yet. I need more time" he said.
"Great" I muttered.
I turned back around as Hunter pushed me further into the room as he shut the other door. They quickly began closing that one too. I slowly walked towards Rex as he unplugged Echo.
"It's a touching reunion, guys, but we need to get out of here now" Anakin said.
"There's an exhaust vent that leads to the cooling systems, right there" Echo said pointing to the ceiling.
"Okay, we need to leave" I said.
Echo opened the vent as we all looked up.
"Great. Now how do we get up there?" Crosshair asked.
"I can help with that!" Wrecker said.
He grabbed Hunter before throwing him up.
"A heads up would've been nice!" Hunter yelled.
Wrecker threw everybody up before turning to me.
"It's okay, Wrecker" I smiled. "I got this."
I jumped up, climbing up with the others as Anakin waited for Wrecker. Crosshair held his arm out as I grabbed it, pulling me out of the vent. We walked through the duct as I glanced around.
"Huh. This ventilation corridor acts as a cooling system for all the computers in the facility" Tech said.
"How did you know it was up here, Echo?" Anakin asked.
"Well, they got access to my mind, and I got access to the Techno Union database" Echo said. "All their plans, inventory, building schematics, everything."
"You mean you can find us a safe way out of here?" I asked.
"Well there is a way but you're not gonna like it" he said.
Echo opened the door as my mouth dropped open. I looked down as sand whirled.
"I don't know about this!" Rex yelled.
"I'm telling you, there's a landing pad on that other building" Echo said.
"So you think there's a ship there we can steal?" Crosshair asked.
"Well, I hope there's a ship we can steal" he said.
Anakin was the first to go as I went right behind him. I slowly walked behind him as we neared the other side.
"Turn around! Go back!" Anakin yelled.
I looked up as droids began walking on the pipe. I grabbed my sabers, blocking some of the blasts.
"Anybody got a brilliant idea?" I asked.
"I do have a brilliant idea" Tech said. "When the locals attacked us. I recorded the creatures distress call."
I put my hands over my ears as a screeching noise erupted.
"I hope this works, Tech!" I yelled.
The creatures appeared, flying throughout the air.
"Now, how do we get on them?" Anakin asked.
"How else? We jump!" Tech said.
"You first" I said looking at Anakin.
He smiled as I jumped right after him.
"We have to shake those droids!" Anakin said. "How do I steer this thing?"
"You steer, I'll watch for droids" I said.
I turned around as the droids were all gone.
"That works too" I said.
The creatures landed as we were surrounded by the Poletecs. The leader walked towards us speaking his language.
"Their leader is impressed we tamed the Keeradaks but he wants to know why we returned here" Tech said.
"Tell him we had no choice" I said.
"Yeah, we wore out our welcome in Purkoll" Anakin said.
Tech began translating as blasts came in. I ducked down as the droids flew in.
"If I know Tambor, he'll come after us, us and the Poletecs with everything he's got" I said.
"What's he saying, Tech?" Anakin asked.
"He says that we have broken out word" Tech said. "We have brought the war to his village."
I looked at Echo as Rex yelled to the Poletec leader.
"I'm glad you're alive" I said.
"Good to see you, gen- Luna" he said. "W-where's Cal? He never liked to miss missions like these."
"He's on Alderaan" I said.
"Alderaan?" He asked.
"Yeah" I smiled. "He's at peace."
He frowned as I walked away. I got into position as the droids soon flew down. Instantly they began shooting as the Poletecs attacked. I jumped down slashing the droids. Looking up a large spider like droids appeared with purple blasts.
"Luna, we've gotta take out these walkers. I'll take one. You take the other" Anakin said over the comm.
"Got it, Ani" I said. "Hunter, Wrecker, you're with me."
We ran underneath the droid as it began shooting at us. I jumped up as Wrecker and Hunter shot at it. I ignited my other saber, stabbing them through the top. I took them out as Anakin jumped down from the other droid. I lost my balance as they towered over. I landed on the ground, dusting off the dirt. Soon after we gathered by the ship as the Poletecs walked toward us.
"Thank you for helping us in our fight" I said.
Tech translated it to the leader as I smiled.
"He said the Jedi will always have an ally here on Skako Minor" he said.
I slightly bowed as they walked away.
