The weekend passed quickly, and Karry, Roy and Jackson were back at school. They were not happy about it.

They had stayed at Lienne's house for the weekend and had as much fun as they did when they were children.

Now, they were catching a train to the Academy.

"Ugh." Roy said, looking like a zombie with bags under his eyes, "Maybe I shouldn't have spent the night awake."

"I hate school. I hate life. I hate you. I hate me. I hate everything," Karry grumbled.

"Shut up, guys." Jackson said, "People are staring at us,"

"Let them stare. I hate them too." Karry said stubbornly, folding his arms. The train suddenly jolted and he was thrown to Roy.

Roy didn't even react, his body was like an empty vessel - he had no pain reactions whatsoever anymore. "Can you get off. It feels uncomfortable." Which was all he said.

Karry muttered swear words and straightened himself again, "I hate this."

"Why don't you go put on black lipstick and throw a shirt on that says 'Death to the world'. I think it would match you." Jackson said - probably the most energized person there.

Karry looked at him with a glare, "Ha, ha."

Roy checked his Weibo. His screen-light making his pale face even paler. Jackson frowned and snatched the phone off him, "It's what made you like this in the first place."

Roy finally seemed alive, he whined and tried to take his phone back but Jackson was unmovable. "C'mon, Jackson. You know this is unfair."

"Unfair is my middle name."

"Well." Roy frowned, "That sucks."

The train announced their stop, and they got off. As they walked to their Academy, they saw Chanyeol being bombarded with girls. "U-uh. Wait a second, I-I just need to get to school, I'm sorry." They heard him stammer.

"Hey!" Roy waved at Chanyeol.

Chanyeol's face immediately softened and saw his getaway plan, "Someone needs me, ladies. I have to go, sorry." He took one of their hands and brushed his lips lightly on it - nothing too serious, but the girl swooned before him. The rest complained but he swiftly got away.

"Hey guys," Chanyeol greeted.

"Wassup." They replied.

"So..." Karry started, "Yeol?"

Chanyeol groaned - of course they were watching, "I didn't give you permission to call me that."

"Are we not your friends?" They did their puppy-eyes on him.

"No." Chanyeol replied cruelly.

Their cute, innocent faces suddenly changed, "What? So only Lienne can call you that?" Jackson asked pointedly.

They annoyed him endlessly all the way to school.

The bell rang as they got there and they all turned to each other.

"I have to get to a meeting, so... see you guys at break." Chanyeol scurried off, meeting up with Senior Baekhyun and ruffling his hair, (A/N; KYAAAA~ CHANBAEK MOMENT)

As they watched him walk off, they turned and started to walk to their own classes as well, "Isn't it unbelievable we friended Chanyeol?" Roy said.

"Yeah, we're foolproof now, the Seniors can't kick us out 'cause we're all buddy-buddy with Chanyeol." Jackson said,

"Well, it's only because of Lienne." They all thought thoroughly - wondering if Chanyeol actually cared about the boys and not just Lienne.

As they entered the class, they seemed to be the center of attention.

"Look, it's them.." They murmured.

Karry frowned at all of them - he was the protector of his two friends - they were like little brothers to him. "What's going on?" He asked loudly.

They all cowered, only the M&M's came up to them. "Apparently, someone's seen you having coffee with Senior Chanyeol." Mark said, obviously not caring what other people said about his friends.

"Yeah, so what?" Karry asked, glaring menacingly at his classmates. Jackson and Roy didn't say a word. Even though Roy was quite rebellious once you got to know him - he was actually quite shy and had his limits.

"Well." Mark said, glancing around him, "You could say they're jealous. Why would the Seniors be nice to you guys all of a sudden?"

"There's a girl involved." Roy said quietly so no one else could hear, but it was to no avail, the class gasped collectively.

"Yes!" Karry said sarcastically, "The magical, mythical creatures called 'girls'" Then Karry rolled his eyes at them, "Grow up, you lot. Surely you talk to your mother?"

The class squirmed in their seats nervously - Karry made them nervous every time he yelled at them. There were rumors that Karry would become a Senior when he graduates. The teacher then entered the room and asked TFboys and the M&M's to sit down.

Karry was still angry and he glared at all of his classmates throughout the class. Others pretended not to notice his glares but it was impenetrable. Most looked straight at the board or down to their feet.

Then Roy leaned over to Karry, "God, you seem like lasers are shooting out of your eyes."

Karry's expression finally softened, he smiled at Roy, "I told you. I hate school and I hate people." Karry then put a serious look and looked melancholy as he stared at the board, "The only people I love is you, Jackson and Lienne. That's it."

Roy wanted to frown - but he couldn't dismiss Karry's affection towards them like that. Karry's father had been a strict fellow, he didn't approve of what Karry did at all. He hated his father immensely. His mother virtually didn't have a voice, she only agreed what her father said, and his father's word was absolute.

Karry ran away from home once and ended up on Roy's doorstep, Roy's family had taken him in and treated them as one of their own. He had liked it there and stayed for a week. Soon his parents found out and got a beating - but Karry said boldly that he wanted to stay - his parents were more than happy to have one less mouth to feed, so they agreed.

Ever since then, Karry and Roy had been almost blood brothers, staying beside each other loyally and constantly, as if they couldn't stand to be driven away from each other.

Then Karry looked at him affectionately, "I love you, y'know that?"

Roy smiled and said nothing more than "I know," And he stared at the board again as the teacher began to explain a maths problem.

Nothing had ever torn the two apart - not arguments, not competition, and certainly not girls. They were together until the end, real partners in crime.

Jackson had arrived a bit later, being their next door neighbor for all their life. And so, the three of them faced the world together.

Roy and Jackson were the stars in his life and they continued to glow - but one day the glow would eventually die and there would be no more light in his universe.
