Chanyeol had gotten Lienne safely out of the Main Building and he made her sit down and lent her his coat. "D'you want anything?" He asked,"No, you've already given me enough," She replied, smiling.
Chanyeol blushed and turned away, rubbing the back of his neck, "I-it's nothing really, I was just doing what I was told to do... y'know..." Chanyeol, what the heck, why are you speaking like a primate? He thought, but he remembered Lienne's words 'It's okay to be a normal boy in times like these'.
He glanced back over to Lienne and saw her biting her lip as her eyes scanned the crowd, "Who're you looking for?" He asked, trying to be a "normal" boy.
She looked up at him, "Oh... you know, those three boys that told you to find me."
Chanyeol turned to face the crowd, scanning them since he was much more taller than Lienne. Then he pointed towards a spot in the crowd, "I think that's them... wait here, I'll go get them." Then he left to grab the boys.
He exerted all his effort to push his way through the crowd, and after an exhausting five minutes, he finally reached them. He dropped his hand on one of the boys' shoulder and he could feel him jump.
"Oh my God!" The boy said, spinning around with alarm.
"Calm down..." Chanyeol said breathlessly, "It's... it's just me..."
They didn't care, they were leaping into questions, "Where is she? Is she okay? Did you manage to find her? Did you take her somewhere safe?"
Chanyeol held a hand up to signal them to wait. As soon as Chanyeol caught his breath, he answered, "I found her crying in the Music Room, I took her outside and she's waiting for us right now by that tree over there." He pointed at a blossoming cherry tree.
They didn't say anymore, they hurried off to squeeze their way through the crowd.
Once they reached her, she broke into a large grin, "I thought you guys ditched me." She said. Chanyeol couldn't help but notice a tiny hurt tone.
"What? No! Never, Senior Chanyeol was in a hurry to push us out." Karry shot his Senior a sharp glare.
"I didn't want you to die!" Chanyeol replied, with the same snappiness.
Jackson and Roy seemed nervous that Karry was picking a fight with a Senior, "Karry, calm down, he did rescue Lienne after all." Jackson said, smiling at the Senior.
"I could've done that." Karry muttered under his breath.
"Well," Roy said suddenly, linking his arm with Karry and Chanyeol, "All's well that ends well. You two make up right now, and we'll go out, just the five of us, it's the least we can do to thank you."
Chanyeol grumbled, but he stuck out his hand for Karry, "Truce?"
Karry took his hand and flashed him a grin, "Truce."
"Where are we going?" Lienne asked,
"I don't know. How about we eat out?" Roy said, shrugging, "I need to post something on Weibo anyways,"
All of them except Chanyeol rolled their eyes. "That's cool with me, to make up for the day that didn't exactly turn out okay." Jackson said, he couldn't help but grin at his little rhyme. "That rhymed."
Karry folded his arms at him, "Nerd." He said quietly, but loud enough for everyone to hear.
"At least I have a brain." Jackson said happily.
Karry took Jackson by the shoulder and gave him a playful headlock.
"Ow, ow, OW!" Jackson said, yelling loud enough so Karry would let go. After he did, Jackson looked at him as though he was a mutant, "That hurted."
