One day, Lienne's school had been closed, since there was a school inspection held on that day, so Lienne's Friday was all to herself.
Only problem was... Lienne didn't exactly had plans.
Minseok and Zhi Hong had already left her home since Minseok was feeling much better and the two siblings wanted to see their parents badly, so the house was empty and Lienne had never felt lonelier.
As she decided to walk to the park, she realized not many people were out, just that old lady from next door and the recently divorced mother of three.
She was about to engage the mother in small talk until she saw someone else speaking to her — he looked strangely familiar, but Lienne couldn't seem to put her finger on it.
But then she recognized his dork-ish laugh.
No one could laugh like Baekhyun.
You will feel creeped out by his laugh and he will make you like it — and it all comes down to his cute eye-smile.
Lienne cocked her head to one side slowly — trying to study his laugh carefully. He managed to cackle and clap like a seal cutely. She smiled and approached him,
"Hey there, what are you doing here?" She eyed him suspiciously, "Aren't you meant to be at school?"
Baekhyun turned to her and excused himself from the mother and grinned at her, "Hey yourself, I was actually just looking for you, and the Academy kinda needs you." Baekhyun clutched her wrist softly and tugged — soon she was being dragged to the Academy.
"But what do they need me for?" Lienne asked,
The corner of his mouth twitched, "You'll see."
Lienne's arrival made a big commotion, you see, it's not every day you see a Senior drag a girl inside the school. There were many whispers and Lienne could feel herself being eyed. Then Baekhyun slammed a door open and many shocked faces greeted him, "Hey there, juniors! Heard you've been doing a play."
Many were shocked of Baekhyun's behaviour — since there was a girl right there. And this school educated Gentlemen, not barbarians.
"Hey, Baek!" Roy waved, he seemed happy and was grinning from ear-to-ear.
"Hiya!" Baekhyun then weaved his way around the desks and chairs and motioned Lienne to follow.
She awkwardly followed, the class was trying not to stare at Lienne but she noticed.
Jackson, Roy and Baekhyun surrounded Karry's table — since Karry refused to get up and was in a supposedly bad mood.
"You guys are doing a play?" Lienne asked with amusement, she got three enthusiastic nods in response.
"We drew lots, it was all about luck, really." Jackson bragged — he, too, seemed happy.
"We're doing the play; 'Cinderella', it's gonna be crazy!" Baekhyun beamed, "The Council chose me to direct the whole thing."
"I'm the Fairy Godmother." Roy giggled — he seemed happy even though he was playing an elderly woman who could bippity-boppity-boo him into oblivion (A/N; did anyone watch Cinderella? I used to go bippity-boppity-boo all the time.)
Then Jackson did an exaggerated hair-flick, "I'm the Prince Charming."
"But you're an all-boys school, how are you going to make this work?" Lienne asked,
Karry sighed particularly loudly at that moment,
Jackson, Roy and Baekhyun grinned at that, "That's the challenge. Boys will be playing the woman roles, and we have to accept that — I trust that the boys of 11A will be incredible." Baekhyun said, glaring at some particular boys.
