Chapter XI - The Setting Sun

Lienne walked aimlessly in the corridors, she really didn't know what to do in such a large school, especially after Karry shooed her out of the classroom - he seemed to be ashamed of something but he wouldn't tell Lienne what of.

Then she saw Chanyeol rushing into a room, she remembered the scene that he caused in the classroom and she was immediately intrigued by what he was doing. She decided to walk inside the room and talk to Chanyeol about it - or would that be too direct?

She was about to open the door when she saw Chanyeol and some other girl in the classroom through a window.

What's Yeol doing with a girl? She thought, Chanyeol turned around and she immediately ducked, sitting against the door, did he see me?

She rose up to the window cautiously and peered through - he was still talking and didn't seem like he noticed her. She breathed a sigh of relief, squatted and looked through the window discreetly.

She was in a rather... awkward position.

She imagined what would happen if someone walked out and saw her squatting on the floor.

That wouldn't happen! She thought optimistically.

Chanyeol and the girl seemed to be in a deep conversation, his eyebrow furrowed in thought when the girl was saying something in exasperation. At this point, the girl had reached maximum frustration when she waved her arms around emotionally.

Lienne couldn't see the girl's face, she was facing away from the door and all she could see was her long, dark brown hair cascading down her back (A/N; <— I know, 'cascading' is so mainstream, but I can't really describe it any other way.)

If only she could turn around, Lienne pouted unconsciously,

Chanyeol opened his mouth for the first time and he only spoke a tiny sentence, Lienne pressed her ear against the door - but she couldn't hear anything.

That sentence was good enough for the girl and she threw her arms around him, Chanyeol was unfazed - disgusted, even.

Well, it seems that they've solved their little drama, I'll go inside and go 'Hey wassup!' and it'll all be fine, Lienne stood up and put her hand on the door handle.

And that was when the girl turned around.

Lienne froze, her hand still on the handle.

Even her heart seemed to stop and thoughts flooded her mind.

It was Taeyeon.

The bell sounded to indicate it was Lunch Break - Lienne never had the heart to open the door and ask what the hell was going on, she also never had the chance to talk to Chanyeol.

But her brain betrayed her when she thought about negative things.

Were Chanyeol and Taeyeon in an affair?

Was Taeyeon cheating on Baekhyun?

Then she remembered Baekhyun's suspicious behavior,

Did Baekhyun allow them to?

She spaced out, she thought no one would notice but after Break, Karry grabbed her wrist and she looked at him in surprise.

"What do you want?" She asked,

Karry's face flushed, "N-nothing, I just.. I thought you were a little out of it and I thought that maybe... you were offended that I pushed you out of the classroom and I didn't mean to make you sad or anything I just didn't want you to see stuff and you weren't talking to me either so-"
