It's been four years since Lienne's childhood friends left. Even though she was doing perfectly fine without them, she couldn't help but feel a sense of loss whenever she walked by that certain playground they used to play on.
She didn't want to forget them, but every day, the memory of their faces slip out of her mind. She was scared that she would forget them fully, that she would forget her three heroes from her childhood. She hoped they remember her at the very least.
Since Karry, Roy and Jackson left, Lienne has had three boyfriends - all not coming to a great end.
She was ecstatic about her first boyfriend, she had a low self-esteem, so she didn't think that anyone would accept her the way she was and still love her. But after finding out that her boyfriend had been a playboy and was trying to reach a stupid goal to date every single person in Year Nine, she dumped him.
Her next boyfriend she had been a little wary about, but as time continued, she trusted and trusted him more, he was funny and made her laugh. He loved her shyness and thought it was cute. But she always had a little feeling that he was holding out on her. One day, his secrets came out. He told Lienne that he couldn't love her and that he was gay. He said that loving a girl was a fantasy to him and that she deserved better. She liked him and he liked her, but it wouldn't work. He became a trustworthy friend over the years, his name was Jason.
Her third boyfriend she had met at a party. He was charming and handsome, Lienne felt happy to be with him. But Jason had not trusted the boy and he was right to do so. Jason dug around and found out that he had been cheating on Lienne. Jason was hesitant to break it to Lienne but he did anyway and she cried for days.
Until finally, she didn't want to date anymore. Men were deceiving people and didn't deserve her trust. And she vowed that if she ever had a son - she would raise him with manners. The only men she ever trusted was her father and Jason. Her three childhood friends were far from her thoughts.
Lienne didn't even want to meet the three boys again - she had thought they grew up corrupted as well.
But one day, as she was taking the train home, she overheard a few girls talking.
"You know that all-boys Academy?" One girl said to the other,
"You mean the Gentlemen Academy?"
"Do they really call it that? So lame!"
"No. They just nicknamed it that, because the school practically teaches the boys in how to treat girls nicely."
"That's so cute!"
"I know! It would be so nice to date one of them, but I heard that all the boys there were good-looking, they'll never notice plain girls."
As the girl group got off the train, Lienne thought to herself all-boys Academy? Where did I hear that?
When she got home, she decided to search up this 'Gentlemen's Academy'
She found out that the school was actually called Brachea's Academy of the Extremely Gifted Men, she snorted at that, wasn't a brachia a body part?
Then her mom entered and saw her daughter lounging around in her room, "Do you want some tea?" she asked, Lienne politely said no.
"Hey... mama, what do you know about the Brachea's Academy of the Extremely Gifted Men?"
Her mother seemed to think, "Isn't that where Karry and that went?" then her mother left to do the laundry.
Lienne lay there, jaw dropped. She had forgotten what school they went in. Now she knew, now... maybe she would have a chance to meet them again.
