Luhan and Sehun were successful in cheering Lienne up, and they began to spend more time with her so she wouldn't feel lonely. It was a sweet gesture but annoying.
They went with her everywhere, to the shops, around the park, to friends' houses.
Her only sanctuary was the toilets.
Lienne hadn't seen much of Roy or Karry, both were not to be seen, even the Seniors didn't see them. Jackson, however, was oblivious to the drama that was occurring around him, to him, their little 'group' wasn't broken.
So far, Lienne's Spring Break wasn't what she expected,
She wanted to step back into time and make sure her and Roy's little scene didn't happen.
But it felt so right?
Nonetheless, Lienne wasn't really enjoying.
Jackson noticed Lienne's mood change ever since she ran home crying, though he didn't say a word. But this time, it really bothered him, since he was explaining a Math question to Lienne but her mind kept wandering,
"Hey?" Jackson waved his hand in front of her, "Lienne to Earth."
That snapped Lienne back immediately, "It's Earth to Lienne."
He shrugged, "Same thing," He saw her glancing out the window again and he sighed, "Look, Lienne, are you sure you want to revise on your Spring Break?"
"My Finals are coming soon, Jackson, I need to revise." Lienne explained simply,
"People aren't even starting to revise now," Jackson rolled his eyes, "You're not even paying attention."
"I am!" She protested,
"You're so uptight, why don't we go out somewhere for the day?" Jackson asked casually,
Lienne twirled her pencil, "That'd be great, we could invite Luhan and Sehun, I'm sure they'd accept."
Jackson stopped to fidget with his hands, "I... I actually thought if it would just be me and you for today."
"You and I." Lienne corrected and was satisfied when she saw Jackson's scowl, then the thought registered in her mind, "You-you mean like a date?"
Jackson did a soft groan, "It sounds awkward if you say that."
"So... it is virtually a date? Right?"
He rubbed the nape of his neck nervously, "Call it what you like,"
"I'm not coming if you don't admit that it's a date." Lienne said stubbornly,
"It's a D-A-T-E, okay? Happy now?" Jackson said, reddening slightly.
She smiled genuinely for the first time in a long time, "Very happy." Then she got up from her seat, "I'm gonna go change, you try and... surprise me on where we're going, okay?" And with that she left,
Jackson brainstormed hard, what was a place that Lienne likes?
Poor Jackson, who didn't know anything other than revising for tests was now face-to-face with a major dilemma,
What if she didn't like it?
Lienne gave plenty of time for Jackson to think as she spent an hour choosing an appropriate dress for a date, "Are you ready, Jackson?" She asked,
"Uh," He bit his lip, "What do you do on first dates?"
Lienne looked at him for a long time, "Jackson... is this your first time on a date?"
