Rachel had been trailing around after Jackson ever since that day Jackson found her on her doorstep.
Jackson found it a little unnerving since whenever Rachel would cling onto him, Brian would give him jealous stares.
He always knew Brian had a thing for Rachel. But Rachel always failed to see his love.
"Jackson~ Marry me." Rachel pleaded.
Jackson turned around with ferocity, a blush creeping up his neck, "What the hell? You can't just ask someone that."
Rachel pouted, giving Jackson puppy eyes, "Why not?"
Jackson could already feel the anger steaming off Brian. "Just- stop." He softly shoved Rachel away. Then he sighed, "Just give me some time to myself." And he grabbed his coat and left.
"I'm going to follow after him, Brian." Rachel said, determination set on her petite face.
Brian grabbed Rachel's wrist, "Rach, just leave him alone."
Rachel's eyes widened, he hadn't called her something other than 'My Lady' in a long time. "O-okay."
Brian realized what he had done and immediately blushed, "I-I'm sorry My Lady, I didn't mean to offend you."
"Brian... You didn't offend me, I like it better when you call me by my name other than 'My Lady'."
Brian stayed quiet and avoiding her gaze.
Meanwhile, while Brian grabbed Rachel's wrist. Jackson was making his way to the Park. "Stupid, Rachel." He muttered, "Stupid, Brian. Stupid-" Then he saw Lienne and his first reaction was to hide.
It's Lienne... His heart rate sped as he watched Lienne from the bushes.
Okay, Jackson. Don't lose your chill, just walk up casually and-
Suddenly, Karry appeared by her side, laughing and holding her hand.
Jackson froze. What should he do?
Lienne didn't seem to mind either, she beamed up at him.
It was as if Jackson's whole world stopped. He sat down on the grass and reflected. Were they on a date, or..?
Then he remembered Jongin's words, "Remember, Karry's a tough guy to beat. He's like me."
Jackson could remember rolling his eyes to that, but Jongin had added, "But don't worry. I see a little of myself in Karry." Then Jongin allowed himself a deep sigh, "He's probably as insecure as you are. You're both equal, Jackson. You're on the same page, never forget that."
Jackson gathered his courage and leapt out of the bush, "Lienne!" He called out, his voice cracking.
Lienne looked shocked. "Jackson... A-are you alright?" She asked, on the verge of laughing.
Jackson had a leaf on his hair, "Yes, I'm alright." Be confident, Jackson smiled confidently and walked over, "Mind if I join you?"
Lienne giggled, "Sure, why not." Then she plucked the leaf out of his hair.
Jackson blushed, but he reminded himself to not lose his footing. He laughed casually, "I didn't know that was there."
