"Maggie", someone called,"Time to get ready for school!"

I quickly looked behind my shoulder to see my mother calling me.

I have been up since 5:00 in the moring sitting on top of the big hill in my backyard reading my devotions and watching the sunrise.

"Coming!" I yelled back.

I quickly grabbed my Bible and notebook and ran down the hill.

I ran up to my back door and opened it slowly knowing that people were probaly still sleeping, besides my mom.

As I quietly closed the door behind me I felt someone touch my shoulder.

"Ah!" I screamed.

I turned to see it was only my mom.

"Shh," she said,"Everyone is still sleeping."

"Oh,sorry mom.Didn't mean to yell." I replied.

"Its fine," she said."Just make sure to be quiet when you go upstairs because Mason is sick."

Mason is my little brother.He's only 3.

"Ok,mom."

I tiptoed up the stairs into my bedroom and closed the door.I plopped down on my queen sized bed and looked up at my white ceiling.

"Today is going to be a good day," I whispered to myself.

~~~~~~
I walked into school with the biggest smile on my face.I was so happy because I had had such a good devotion this the moring. It was just lighting up my whole day.
I walked over to the court yard and sat down at one of the benchs.
I opened up my backpack and took out my journal.My journal is very important to me.
I shoved my hand to the bottom of my tribal print backpack hoping i would find a pencil.
I finally found one and started writing.
I wrote how my day was going,about the wheather,what I ate for breakfest,and things like that.
But everyday I always write about my biggest crush,Luke Arden.
He is a boy that goes to my church and school.He is a junior in a high school.Oh and I'm and softmore,if you were wondering.
I have always like Luke since 7th grade.I pray everday for him everyday,so that maybe one day God would have Luke have a liking for me.
I call this process, The Wait.
Hey,guys! This is like my first book so I hope you guys like it.Sorry if there is anything spelled wrong in this.I hope you guys like the rest of the book too.Bye!
