The Wait

Chapter 7

After school I went to Starbucks with Marrisa.

I got a vinilla frapp with two pumps of rasberry syrup and Marrisa got just a normal iced coffee.

We sat down outside because its spring and its 65 degrees so why not?

Then suddenly Marrisa asked me a question.

"So,Maggie, do you have a boyfriend yet?"

"Um.....no," I answered quietly.

"Oh,why not?" She asked.

"Well...." I didnt really know how to answer that.

"I just dont," I answered.

"I need to find you one then," Marrisa said.

"Well Marrisa,I dont just wanna go around dating random boys," I said, "If I date someone. I wanna date them with purpose."

"Oh ok then," Marrisa said sadly.

Like I said earlier,Marrisa is not a christian so she can be very wordly.

"Do you have your eye on someone though?" She asked a little more happy.

"Maybe," I said blushing.

"Who?" She askes screaming.

"Luke Arden from school," I replied.

She thought for a mintute.

"Oh,he plays on Briant's football team,right?" She asked me.

"Yeh, I think so," I answered.

"Oh,well he's cute," she said smirking.

I blushed so hard I could feel my cheeks warming up.

"Maggie,thats not something to be embarressed about," she said patting my shoulder.

"I know I just really like him and not just for his looks," I said very seriously.

"Well you guys would look so cute together," Marrisa said smiling.

"You think?" I questioned.

"Of course!" She replied.

I smiled really big.

"Mom, Im home," I yelled walking in the door.

" Hey honey, Im in the dining room," my mom yelled back.

I drooped my pack back at the front door and took off my black vans.

I walked into the dining room to see my mom setting the table.I decied to help.

After we were done my whole family came done stairs.

My dad, my little brother Mason,and my older brother Kevin.

We all sat down and just talked about our day and stuff.

After dinner I went upstairs and took a shower and got in my pjs.

I hopped in and bed and got all tucked up under my covers.

I cant wait till friday.
