"He did?" I asked.

"Yeah,and he said tell her I said sorry," Maria said facing towards me.

"Oh probally because he might of felt bad because of him missing the tutoring lesson," I explained.

"Oh ok, that makes sense," She said nodding her head.

Saturday morning after breakfest Maria left because she had cheerleading practice.

After that I decied to call my school to ask them about if I would get extra credit tutoring Luke.

"Hello, this is Parkdale High School; How may I help you?" The lady said on the other line.

"Hi, I'm trying to reach someone that I can talk to about extra credits," I said.

"Are you a student here?" The lady asked.

"Yes, I am. My name is Maggie Johnson and I'm in 10th grade," I explained.

I just heard some typing in the background.

" I'm going to put you on the line with another teacher, ok?" She asured.

"Ok," I said with a little bit of an high pitch voice.

I get nervous and the phone when I talk to strangers. So thats why my voice goes all high pitch.

"Hello, this is Mr. Malcom," A man's voice said on the other line.

"Um, hi I'm a student here at Parkdale in 10th grade and I have a question about extra credit in phyics," I said.

"Um, I'm going to have to send you to a different teacher because I teach algebra," The man said kinda annoyed.

"Oh ok that's fine," I said.

I'm trying to be as christ-like as possible because this man kinda sounds like he needs it.

I sat on the line forever waiting for someone to pick up.

Then finally after twenty mintues someone amswered.

"Hello?" A womans voice said.

"Yes," I said.

"Who is this?" The lady asked.

"Maggie Johnson. I've been waiting for a physics teacher to get on the phone because I have a question about extra credits," I explained as kindly as possible.

"Ahahaha," The lady laughed.

"Um, excuse me," I said confused.

"I'm sorry, there must have been a mix up because the 10th grade physics teacher isn't here today," She said.

"Oh ok," I said.

"I'm so sorry for having you wait," The lady said with a giggle.

"It's fine," I said.

"Bye," The lady said hanging up quickly.

"Well, that was strange," I said to myself.

~~~~~~~
On Sunday I went to church like normal. (Outfit in media.)
On the way there my family went through the drive through at starbucks. I got an iced vinilla latte. Yum yum.
As I walked into the church foyer, I was immeditaly embraced by Maria hugging me.
"Woah," I said," Just a hello would have been fine."
"I know, but I have exciting news," She squeeled letting go of me.
"What is it?" I asked.
"Mark has a crush on me!" She squeeled again but this time she was jumping too.
"He does?" I asked exhilarated.
I've know that Maria has a good crush on him for about two years.
It's so funny because me and Maria always imagine ourselves marrying two guys that our best friends. Because, you know, Luke and Mark are friends.
"Yeh, Jessica told me!" She said.
"Wow,Maria that's awesome," I said with a nice smile.
But after I smiled I had to turn around and wipe a tear from my eye. This excites me so much but it reminds me of Luke and that I wish he liked me.
But thats why I pray to God that if it's His will, that he might show Luke my love for him.
I turned back around to Maria and gave her a asuring smile.
"Are you okay?" Maria questioned
"Yeh... I'm fine," I said trying to hold back my tears.
"God always answers our prayers. Now I know some of you are probally thinking, well not mine. But thats because some of you choose not to hear the right answer. You see God answers our paryers in three ways; either yes, no, or wait," John preached to us.
The word struck me; wait.
That's why when I pray I say: Help me through The Wait. Because God's answer to me has been wait. Not yes, not no; but wait.
