The Wait

Chapter 6

I woke up monday moring to it raining.

Aw man! Now I cant read my Bible outside.

Its ok.I'll just read inside today on my bed.

I grabed my Bible from of my night stand and started reading from Matthew.

I found a really good verse that really stuck to me.

It is Matthew 21:22, " You can pray for anything, and if you have faith, you will receive it."

Wow, so that means if I have faith then I can be with Luke. I never thought of that before. That just brighten my day!

I sat down at the lunch table with my friend Marrisa.

Marrisa and I are friends just from school. I try not to spend to much time with her because she can be wordly,but I still try to be a light too her.

"So,Maggie, what have you been up to lately?" Marrisa asked me.

"Nothing really,just living life," I answered.

"Oh ok," Marrisa said.

"How about you?" I asked.

"Well, I started soccer," Marrisa said loudly.

"Thats so cool,Marrisa," I said cheerfully.

"I know right," Marrisa added.

Then Marrisa's boyfriend, Briant walked over and sat down besides her and wrapped his arm around Marrisa's shoulder.

"Hey girls," Briant shouted.

"Hey," Marrisa said pecking Braint's cheek.

"Are you coming to my football game on friday?" Braint asked Marrisa.

"Oh yeh, of course," Marrisa replied.

Then Marrisa looked over at me and smirked.

"Hey,you should come Maggie," Marrisa told me.

"Is it here at Parkdale High?" I asked.

"Yeh," Marrisa shouted.

"Ok sure, I will," I said.

"Alright, awesome," Marrisa said taking a bite of her apple.

After awhile of talking and eating it was time to go to class.

As I was walking to class, I remembered who also plays football on our schools team.

Luke.
