Chapter 3

They finally found Kevin locked up in an old abandoned church. He said when he escaped Crowley and his men that he took the tablet with him and has it. So they made a plan to go get it but when they stopped for lunch Kevin insisted for them to go see his mom to make sure she was okay. And Dean was insisting that they don't have time because it was a days drive in the opposite direction.

"Dean, come on, the kid has got a point. And it's not going to hurt him-" Nova stated.

"Stay out of this." Dean cut her off making her huff out as she crossed her arms.

"No, it's not going to hurt him seeing his mother. As you guys have said, family is important and comes first." She said Flatley.

Dean rolled his eyes and looked at Kevin, "Kevin, your mom's fine. Because Crowley needs her to be okay? In fact he's probably got bodyguards there right now protecting her for that when you show up he'll pounce on you both."

"Is that supposed to make me feel better?"

"She's bait man, plan and simple. And you want to swim right up and bite the hook?" Kevin didn't say anything so Dean continued, "Look, we got Crowley by the short and curlies okay? All we need to do is find the tablet and whip up the spell. And Boom! Sunshine and Sandy beaches."

"Dean." Nova put her hand on his upper arm, "Imagine if it was Sammy in the same predicament. Would you not want to make sure he's okay? Or possibly save him if you could? So really there's not much difference in you saving your brother and him wanting to make sure himself that his mother is fine."

Dean sighed and tossed his food down, "Son of a bitch." He threw his hands up, "Fine, let's go." He then points at Nova, "I hate you, you know that?"

"No you don't, you love me and you know it." She grins at him as he smiles back.

They then gathered their stuff up and left the cafe. When they got to Kevin's mom's house they sat in the car and scoped the place out. Dean pointed out how the mailman filled the mailbox 3 times since they had been sitting there and then pointed out the gardener watering a big bush of flowers that didn't need anymore water.

Since it made sense they were demons they made a plan to get rid of them before approaching the door.

After they killed the two demons outside, Kevin went and knocked on the door. But once she opened the door Sam and Dean tossed holy water on her to make sure she wasn't a demon.

"You guys?" Nova sniffled, "Ya'll smell that?"

They realized there was another demon in the house so they rushed in to see.

When Sam walked into the kitchen a demon started to exit the woman but he quickly said a spell.

"Et secta diabolica, omnis congregatio, omnis legio, omnis incursio, infernalis adversarii, omnis spiritus, excorcizamus!"

As soon as he was done the black smoke entered back into the woman so Nova took the opportunity to stab the demon.

They sat down with Mrs. Tran and explained what she was and that they had to kill her because it would have went to Crowley to let him know where Kevin was. They then explained why Kevin was taken by Crowley so she agreed to go with them.

Dean and Sam said it was best for her to stay in a safe house but she wasn't going to leave Kevin's side again. When they told her that it she's coming with she'll have to get inked up and Sam explained what that meant then showed off his anti-possession tattoo. She surprised them by agreeing and told them it wasn't her first tattoo.

"Awesome, didn't picture her being a tattoo getting person." Nova smirked when Mrs. Tran walked upstairs to get packed up.

When they're got to the car Nova handed them both a little tied bag.

"Keep these in your pockets and do not lose them. They'll keep you hidden from those evil bastards."

When they got to the tattoo shop Nova decided this was the perfect opportunity to get herself another tattoo besides the anti-possession tattoo her mom got for her years ago. At first Dean didn't think they had time for her to pick one out but Nova already knew what she wanted and where she wanted it. She even had it drawn on a paper already for an opportunity like this.

She had a scar on her right side above her hip from her car wreck that was just a small line so the tattoo was of a feather looking like it was going into her skin with a small pink and black bow on the bottom end of the feather.

"That looks sex-" Dean started to say sexy but Sam looked sternly at him so he said, "Badass." Instead.

Nova just smirked and patted Dean on the chest, "Nice save there buddy."

But when Dean, Kevin and Mrs Tran got in the car Nova pulled Sam back.

"Why did you give Dean such a hard look when he started to say my tattoo I got was sexy?"

"Because." Sam wrapped his arms around her waist and she placed her hands on his shoulders, "You are my girl and I don't want him to use the word sexy in any sentence pertaining to you. Only I'm allowed to do that."

She smiles up at him, "Oh okay."

He then leans his head closer to hers and they kiss but didn't get to very long because Dean honked the horn out of impatience.

"I swear." Nova rolled her eyes as her and Sam got inside.

"As soon as we find the tablet and get this done the better." Dean says as he began to drive.

"Yeah yeah." Nova giggled.

They got to a bus station where Kevin said he hid the tablet in a locker. Sam, Dean and Nova checked the place out to make sure there was no demons but the place was clean.

Dean opened the locker and pulled out a diaper bag, which made Nova stuck in a breath and turn away.

"Really? You hid the word of God in a diaper bag?" Dean asked him.

"No."

Dean realized it wasn't in there and looked at Sam who just gave him a sarcastic smile.

"Shut up." Dean told him and tossed the bag back into the locker.
