Chapter 39

Nova had been sick lately, she just thought it was normal sickness.

"Baby you okay?" Sam walked into the bathroom.

"I'm good." She breathed out as she quickly flushed the toilet so he couldn't see the blood that was mixed with the fluids she threw up.

She got up and started rinsing her mouth out and he rubbed her back.

"You sure?" He asked as she nodded, "Hey, do think maybe you could be?"

She quickly looked at him and shook her head, "Not possible, when I was in the hospital after my accident, you heard the doctor. He said that because of the sever of my injuries that I would never be able to get..." She couldn't finish her sentence and sighed knowing she would never get to be a mother.

"I know but-"

"No buts Sam please." She cut him off as Dean popped his head in.

"Hey, sorry to interrupt but Cass called, he needs our help."

"With what?" Sam asked him as they said walked out of the bathroom.

"I'll explain on the way."

Nova decided to go with them because she knew the fresh air might help.

When they got there Cass kept looking at Nova as he explained how she was up in the room and he didn't want to go up alone.

"Cass is there a reason you keep looking at me?" Nova asked as they walked through the hospital.

"Sorry, just something seems different about you."

"Oh, well I've been sick lately so that could be it."

"I don't know if-"

"Why don't you get checked out while we're here." Sam suggested.

She shook her head as they got to the room Claire was in, "No, we're here for Cass and Claire."

When they got to her room she didn't like that they were there. After some talk with her they got it out of her why she was by a bar.

Luckily Sam and Nova was able to find where Claire has disappeared and what room she was in. Sam was even nice enough to show her how to hack into her mom's credit cards and back into getting her own credit cards. While Sam was showing her, Nova messaged Dean to let them they found her and where they were.

Later after they found out where the location they needed so they decided to go. Cass told both Dean and Claire they weren't going to the location.

"Dean, Cass is right. We need to keep the mark in check. We don't know what's out there... Maybe you should stay here."

"So you want to bench me again."

Nova put her hand on Dean's shoulder, "Don't think it as that. I haven't been feeling the greatest so think of it as you're helping keep an eye on me."

"All right, fine." He looks at Nova then at Claire, "I'll stay and babysit."

"But anything happens, anything at all..."

"Yeah we'll call you. No fighting." Cass cut Dean off.

Dean scoffed motioning towards Claire "Yeah tell her that."

"All of you." Cass walked out.

Sam had kissed Nova then followed him out.

Dean decided to change out of his suit then grabbed a couple beers, handing one to Nova but She shook her head.

"Wow, you must be sick to decline beer."

"Just don't think it's a wise choice of fluids right now." She sighed.
