Sam just let Dean know about how he had Martin Ceaser tailing Benny and keeping tabs on him. Of course Dean was a little irritated because not to long ago Martin was in a psychiatric hospital.

When they got to Criasco Louisiana and after they found out what Martin knows about Benny and the supposed dead guy that he thinks Benny killed, Dean said he needed a few hours to process everything. Nova asked if she could join Dean and at first Dean nor Sam thought it was a good idea but they finally gave in and let her go.

When they got to the diner that they had found out through Martin where Benny had been working, they looked around then sat at the counter. The girl, Elizabeth, sat menus down in front of them but Dean slid it away.

"Actually, I already know what I want."

Elizabeth sighs, "Let me guess, gumbo?"

Dean chuckled, "Was gonna be the gumbo till I saw. " Dean clicks his tongue and points, "Pie."

"Well, the specials pecan."

"Of course it is. Let's do that."

"And what about you sweetheart?" Elizabeth asked Nova.

"Oh, uh, just a coffee for me thanks."

Elizabeth pours her a cup then walks over to the pie as Nova added cream and sugar to her coffee. Elizabeth returned a moment later with a sigh.

"Bad news. "

"You're out of pecan. Sorry of my life." He knocks his hands on the counter, "That's all right. Uh, that's all right. Maybe you can make it up to me. I'm actually looking for an old friend of mine. I heard he's kicking around these parts. His names Roy."

"Well, Roy works night shift here. I mean if we're talking the same Roy."

"Uh yeah. He uh putts around in a beat-up camper. Thing looks like a rolling death trap."

Elizabeth chuckles "Yeah, I thought I was the only one that gave him trouble over that piece of junk."

Dean chuckled with her, "You wouldn't happen to know where he's parking that thing these days, would you?"

"Well, he, uh, was parking it out it out back, but just called to tell me he's gone up the road to mill creek for a few days."

"Okay." Dean nodded, "Did he say why?"

"Fishing, I think. He really deserves a break. He's been working double for the last two weeks straight."

"Uh, listen. " Dean grabs a pen and a piece of paper, "I, uh, I tell you what. If he pops up before I can find him." He writes his name and number on the paper. "Do me a favor and just give me a buzz. Or... you could just drop a dime yourself." He smiles at her sweetly.

Seeing him flirt like that gave Nova a twinge of jealously but she knew it shouldn't have so she didn't understand why it was.

"Sure thing." Elizabeth smiles picking up the paper and looking at it,  "Dean."

"And uh you are?" He asked as he stood up.

"Elizabeth."

"I'm Nova." She stood up with Dean.

"Elizabeth. All right. I'll take a rain check on that pie."

"Definitely... wait, are you seriously flirting with me in front of your girl?"

"Oh no. " Nova shook her head, "I'm not his girl, just a friend." She quickly assured her with a smile, "I promise."

"Oh okay." Elizabeth smiled back.
