Chapter 6

The three of them entered a motel room they thought Kevin would be at but it was a fail because he wasn't there. He was leading them on a wild goose chase.

All of a sudden Dean got a phone call so he stepped outside to talk to the person on the other end.

"Something's up with him, I swear." Nova peaks out the window at Dean.

"Yeah but hard telling what it is." Sam sighs shrugging.

When Dean said he needed to leave that he had something he needed to do both Sam and Nova were confused. When Sam and Dean got into it about him leaving Nova decided to stay quiet.

"Dean, at least take one of us with you. Maybe we can help you."

"No, this is something I've got to do myself."

"Fine, since obviously we're not going to change your mind." She walks over to him, "Just, just be safe please."

"I will." They hug and he kisses her on the forehead.

"Seriously? Not going to help change his mind?" Sam huffed as Dean got in the car.

Nova walks back over to Sam as Dean pulls away, "No, how? Sam, he's a grown man. And you of all people, being his brother, should know when he is set on doing something he going to do it."

"Yeah I guess." He runs his hand through his hair.

"Come on, let's just go inside." She grabs his hand and pulls him inside. "Might as well relax for the night. We can search around for Kevin in the morning."

"Sounds like a plan. Wouldn't be able to focus tonight anyways." He says as he sits on the edge of the bed and takes his shoes off.

They decided to lay down, Nova laid on her back and Sam laid in his side facing her. He placed his hand on her bare stomach and as he rubbed in a circle he felt the scar on her lower stomach so he stared at it as he gently ran his fingers over it. She looked down at his fingers and sighed.

"Sometimes I wonder what it would be like if I didn't get into that accident."

"It's crossed my mind too honestly. And I hope you're still not blaming yourself." He looks at her.

She shakes her head some as she looks back at him, "Not like I was before. I mean, yes it still...the thought still pops into my head but I shake it off. I'm finally able to dismiss the thought. Because the accident could have happened even if I wasn't upset."

"Yes it could have." He moves her hair away from her face.

"Honestly, now that I think back, to me it's just fates way of saying we weren't ready to be parents. Especially in the lifestyle we live in. I don't want to raise a child up in this. I know how hard it was not having my dad around days at a time. Just having my mom there. My mom filmed a lot of things I went through just so my dad could see them even if he wasn't actually there."

"Trust me, I get it, I do."

She smiles at him, "I know you do since you're dad was in the same profession as mine. And that being said, with the way our dad's was, and the way we are now. He would have grown up to be a strong, intelligent person."

"He?" Sam raised an eyebrow.

Nova blushed, "I uh, I found out at the hospital the... the baby was a boy."

"Oh wow, I'm surprised you never mention that till now." He smirked.

She shrugged as she rolled to her side to face him, "Because it was too hard to talk about at the time. But as time went on its been easier at the mention of everything. And Sam?"

"Hmm?"

"Thank you for not giving up on me even though multiple times I tried pushing you away."

He cups the side of her neck, "You don't have to thank me. I didn't give up on you nor us because I love and care about you too much."

They smile at each other and start kissing. Nova breaks the kiss and rests her forehead against his.

"I love you."

"And I love you." He replied as he wrapped his arms around her.

She turned her head and yawned and he lightly chuckled and wrapped her leg around his

"Go to sleep babe."

"Sleep, sounds good." She mumbled with her eyes closed and snuggled up closer to him.

The next morning Nova was reading as Sam was trying to track Kevin when they heard a sound coming from the bathroom.

Nova snaps her head up, "Uh what is that?"

Sam shrugged as he slowly got up and went to investigate what it was. Turns out it was just the exhaust fan being noisy and Sam began to fix it. When he was done, he turned around to see a smirking Nova starting at him.

"What?"

"Nothing, just you being Mr handyman." She shrugs as he walked out of the bathroom. "A big strong, sexy, handyman." She wraps her arms around his neck.

"You like that huh?" He wraps his arms around her waist.

"Mhm." She nods with a grin, "My turn."

She didn't give him time to say anything as she started kissing him. He broke the kiss, took her shirt off then left kisses on her neck as she undid his shirt. After his shirt was off he picked her up and placed her on the bed, they then took off the rest of their clothes.

"Ohh." She breathed out as he went into her.

He kissed her roughly as he moved harder knowing she liked it that way which made her moan into the kiss.

When they were done they cuddled with each other.

"If Dean doesn't come back today than we should do something."

"We've went over this Nova."

"I know." She sits up "But what if we do find something on Kevin, then what? We're stuck here with no way around but our feet."

"Yeah, yeah you're right." He sat up, "Well then let's go do something then."
