"Then why is he telling me I broke your heart? That I couldn't stick to 'just one'?"
Hana stood at her ex boyfriends door, and she was furious to say the least. Sunwoo wouldn't explain any further on that flight, claiming she was avoiding admitting her wrongdoings.
"When did I ever go behind your back?" She pressed further.
Changmin looked on with his mouth agape. What exactly did Sunwoo say? "I don't know what you're talking about."
"You do, you really fucking do," the girl sounded exhausted.
It was then that Changmin's mother came up behind him, looking between the two. "It's lovely to see you again, Hana. But is everything alright here?"
"Sorry, Mrs-"
"You should know better than to go all crazy when my family are sitting right behind me," Changmin spat. "It's disrespectful."
Hana stood dumbfounded.
Every ounce of anger and sadness that she had felt over these last couple of months, even years with him, mounted up to this.
"You want to hear something disrespectful, Mrs Ji?" The girl asked dryly, pitying his mother in that moment.
"Is that necessary, Hana?" Her ex-boyfriend was the true definition of patronising.
"Your son is a manipulative scumbag," Hana sighed of relief when she finally said the words. "Who has caused me nothing but sadness. I don't remember anything good about him."
Tears pricked at her eyes as she forgot how she once managed to believe the stars fell in his eyes, how her fate was with him.
It wasn't. "Oh, and he's a cheater. Have a good night."
With a bow, the girl walked away although her legs shook with every step she took.
Her mind went blank as she reached her street, but she never crossed like she usually did. Instead, she wound up on his doorstep.
"Can we talk?" Hana asked as the red haired boy opened his window from above.
"What about?" Sunwoo asked unamused.
"Changmin," she sighed. "He wasn't telling the truth-"
The boy chuckled, shaking his head. "And what makes me think I would ever believe you over him?"
